Description: Print MenuIts namesake – the famed Cordúa Churrasco steak - sparked Houston’s Latin American revelation nearly 25 years ago, and the flame is still burning strong at Churrascos. The tantalizing menu mixes up native Latin ingredients with the unexpected for a culinary line-up that is as artful as it is delightful, including bacon-wrapped shrimp taquitos, ethereally light angel wings, bahia grilled chicken, yuca fries, and, of course, the award-winning Churrasco – voted one of the best 20 steaks in America by Esquire magazine. Signature items include the Churrasco, a charcoal-grilled center-cut beef tenderloin steak; Tres Leches dessert - vanilla cake laced with three sweet creams and topped with a light meringue and Cordua’s signature plantain chips and chimichurri are served on every table

The service was great. The restaurant is beautiful and located just off the lake. The plantain was delicious, tres leites cake was good, the seafood gumbo was nothing, but a thick dark broth with few gain of rice on the bottom and 3 pieces of unrecognizable seafood floating on top. The sea bass was cooked to my like, but it was bland.

I have really enjoyed this restaurant before but on this trip the food and service were both lacking. The restaurant was busy and it seemed like the staff were stretched. I was seated facing where the serving staff had a station and I was able to watch the chaos of meals being served to the wrong table, corrections being made, customers becoming frustrated by the wait etc. My steal was average.

We had a great evening there with our son and his family. We sat on the deck overlooking the lake. It is a very nice restaurant and our granddaughter loved the experience as did we.

Great upscale restaurant. Love the plantains and sauces. Nothing tastier than a medium rare Churrascos steak. Finish wth Tres Leches and be happy. Entree is sized and priced to split. Sit out on patio to enjoy the lake view for a cocktail or dinner.

We weren't sure what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. Despite arriving for an early dinner with our two teenagers, the location by the water and the interior decor set the scenes or a memorable dinner.

Our server was friendly as she explained the menu items and guided us in our choices.

The empanadas and taquitos were so delicious I somewhat regretted not ordering more. My daughter and I each had the Pollo Bahia, while my son and husband had the Gamba Al Agillo and the Pargo De Lujo. All meals were beautifully plated and flavorful.

We truly enjoyed our dining experience and would return again given the opportunity.
