Market street has cute boutique shops and restaurants and has a completely different feel than a large indoor mall. We like Orvis and Potbellies. It is fun to hold hands and meander in and out of the little shops or watch the kids run through the fountains in the park.

We live here and Market Street is one of our favorite destinations locally. The area consists of shops, restaurants, and a large grass covered quad in the center with a fountain with water jets that kids love to get soaked in. In the Fall and Spring, there is generally a free jazz concert on Thursday evenings, which is simulcast like on a local FM radio station. People bring in their lawn chairs and wine coolers and spend the evening there. There are some great restaurants encircling the central lawn and includes Tommy Bahamas on one site and Jasper's on the other. You can site outside facing the lawn at both places. Plus there is a wine bar (Cru) on one side and a small CineArts movie theatre on the other playing the latest movies in an intimate setting. There is also a sushi place and several other restaurant choices. The best place to park is in the garage on the south side of Market Street. Parking is free but it does get busy at times. All in all, it is a great place to spend an afternoon or evening if you are visiting from out of town. Of course, you could make it into a day if you decide to go shopping in the shops that line the area.

Market Street was built to replicate a small town Main Street atmosphere with attractive store fronts, movie theatre, restaurants, on street parking, and above shop office space. Central to Market Street is a grassy park like environment with interesting sculptures, beautiful pots of flowers, and a water feature. At Christmas time, a huge tree is erected in this space.

Market Street is a really nice place to visit for eating and shopping. There are a number of restaurants, a couple of good bars, movie theatre and a variety of shopping. It is also across the street from The Woodlands Mall and a couple of blocks from The Waterway where there are more shops and restaurants, a waterway taxi (boat) and outdoor concerts on Spring weekends. There are holiday events for kids (e.g. Halloween trick-or-treating, Christmas music from a huge tree and Santa in a sleigh). Market Street has a small inner park area with water shooting up from the ground where kids love to run and get soaking wet. Overall, a fun and relaxing place to walk around, watch people, and eat good food.

There is a lot of shops to visit. It is easy access to get around, they have a trolley you can get on which is free. Also great restaurant 's from sandwich to steaks your choice. Also have a small park area were kids can run around with a small water spouts. It's good to see.
