Our server was very friendly and attentive, the decor is great, but the food was a huge disappointment. I have eaten sushi at the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo and this place was a disgrace to the name. If you do go here, order al-la-carte and be careful. I ordered a roll with 'crab meat' and it had imitation crab (crab stick) in it instead. Half of the chef's choice sashimi combo consisted of egg tamagoyaki and more imitation crab... only one piece of tuna... in other words the really cheap stuff that isn't really sushi. They did have toro (the delicious fatty cut of bluefin tuna) on the menu but were out... although that is quite common but disappointing nonetheless. Beware of the escolar aka super white or white tuna aka diarrhea fish which is illegal to serve in Japan and other countries. There are far better options for sushi around The Woodlands, if you enjoy sushi half as much as I do, do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. If you're looking for a cheap happy hour and a California roll is your favorite dish then you'll probably love it.
