I was surprised that the registration clerk also had to serve the bar and snack bar. She was very gracious, but busy.
Prior to my alarm going off, I heard water splashing and thought I was hearing an early rising neighbor in the shower. As it turns out, water was dripping from the bathroom ceiling in my room and splatting on the floor.
There was a good and tasty breakfast selection.

Room Tip: Make sure the plumbing issue has been corrected above Room 403.

Spent a weekend night away from home with the family. This hotel had been open for one week. Still working on some issues that are just part of opening a property. Pluses: 24/7 cafe & bar downstairs has an abundant choice of foods to eat whenever that hunger attack strikes you. Double bed rooms also have a sleeper sofa which allows us to sleep five (a difficult but welcome feature to find). Over-the-top friendly staff. Quiet place.

Negatives: Light leak from the parking lot was difficult to deal with if you like a pitch black room. We were told the wrong times for breakfast, so we missed. Therefore, I cannot comment on it. I'm sure this place would be excellent if they could take care of the light leak issue.

We (2 adults 1 child) are staying here three nights while running tests at MD Anderson and before our 7 day Carnival cruise. This place was a little hard to find because it is nestled in The Woodlands. Overall it is a very good location, close to various shops and stores. There are lots of employees running around since this hotel is in the start-up mode tweaking operations. The staff is new, friendly and very accommodating, they even remember our name. They have all of the usual Hyatt Place amenities. It feels like the common areas are larger than most than I’ve been too. The pool is nice, but not heated yet because they opened just a few days ago. The workout room is state-of-the-art. There is plenty of parking. We can't wait to come back to this location. We stayed in the Boardroom and used Hyatt Goldpoints for our 3 night stay.
