“The restaurant of no return”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014

When the potato chips are the best item on your plate, you know you're in trouble.

I was at Jason's yesterday with my wife and grandson at his behest.. We had been disappointed on a previous visit, but this was even worse. Well, he liked the mac and cheese and then it went downhill. My wife and I each chose the soup and sandwich. I had gumbo and a tuna melt. The sandwich bread was done so lightly that is seemed more like stale bread than toast and wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese. The tuna was a large scoop just dumped in, quantity apparently trumping quality. The gumbo lacked character, chicken or sausage, but did have a few overcooked shrimp. The rice was a glutinous mass rather than individual grains, in fact, I first thought that it was globs of roux not integrated into the stock. My wife pronounced her panini passable, but her roasted tomato soup was so overwhelmed by cumin as to be inedible by either of us.

Not even a grandson's begging will ever get us back here.

“Muffaletta is worth the stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

Jason's Deli makes the best muffaletta outside of New Orleans. I think the bread is baked in Louisiana and trucked over. A whole ham muffeletta was about 12.98 and fed the 2 of us for 2 lunches. The olive relish is perfection.

“Good food but a little dirty place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2013 via mobile

We really enjoy each time we eat at this Location. Food is great and is in a fair price. What I don't like about here us that at lunch time it may be crowd and the tables and floor can be dirty. If they could correct these, it will be an awesome place to have lunch.

“Excellent Deli Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2013

This deli has everything from clubs, wraps, and soups to pasta. The salad bar is exceptional and always very fresh. The Muffaletta sandwich is the best this side of New Orleans. I usually get the Ruben and French Onion Soup and this is an exceptional meal ! The baked potatoes are a full meal, whether plain or with a meat topping. The prices are reasonable, and there are usually combo specials, as well.
You order at the counter, then they will give you a number and will bring your meal to your table. TV's abound, so it is a laid back place to eat a relaxing meal.
By the way, free ice cream when you leave and it is very good !!!!

Liked the food and the helpful staff. AC was freezin us, but probably that was because we were the only ones there that night, almost close to their closing time.
