My wife and I spent a belated anniversary weekend at The Cotton Palace. It was all we hoped for. Becky Hodges and Matt Hodges provided exceptional hospitality. The breakfasts were awesome. Fresh brewable coffee, tea, bottled water and snacks always available. The location near downtown Waco was quiet and very convenient to the Waco attractions and restaurants. We would gladly go there again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Erin Suite, the largest of the regular rooms. It was exceptional.

My husband and I are from Houston and recently enjoyed a getaway weekend in Waco. We stayed 2 nights at The Cotton Palace in Waco and had a wonderful time. We stayed in "Hillary's room". Our room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with abundant hot water. We enjoyed the complimentary cookies and coffee always available right outside our room. Becky and Dutch were very welcoming and informative and breakfast was delicious...both mornings! The Cotton Palace will definitely be our first choice for lodging the next time we're in Waco.

What a charming historical home! So well decorated and clearly well-loved. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. All the rooms are beautifully themed and decorated and stocked with many amenities you would only expect in a hotel (like free WI-fi, toiletries, coffee and tea - and fresh baked cookies!). The bed was SO comfortable. But, as mentioned by other guests, what "made" this visit was the genuine hospitality of the innkeepers. They are truly doing what they love! We've already booked our next weekend!

Room Tip: I viewed all the rooms (except the cottage) and they are all lovely. Rooms are not huge, but you don...

This beautiful historical home is so comfortable and relaxing! The Amanda Room was gorgeous and we wished we had planned to stay longer. Matt and Becky were so welcoming and we enjoyed visiting with Becky. Breakfast was exceptional and the other guests were fun to visit with. What made the breakfast so interesting was Dutch! He is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Waco, as well as what was going on there. By the time you finish breakfast you feel like you are family and can not wait to come back home! If you are heading to Waco or even close to it, plan to stay at The Cotton Palace, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed at The Cotton Palace as part of a group of Baylor football parents. Everything was perfect! The rooms are beautiful, and Becky and her family took wonderful care of us. Breakfast both days was just yummy. Dutch and Matt are precious. We are already planning future stays. I cannot say enough good things about our weekend there! Seriously, if you are staying over in Waco, stay here!!!

Room Tip: Amanda's Room is very romantic.

My husband and I took a few days for a getaway at the Cotton Palace and we're so glad we did! What a wonderful place! The rooms, the food (courtesy of Becky) and the "entertainment" by Dutch were all great! We loved the homemade cookies that were right outside our room all day long! We stayed in Emily's room, which was so pleasant. I peeked in a few of the other rooms and would like to stay in Erin's suite or Amanda's room on another trip! All the rooms are beautifully decorated and the whole house is so comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend the CP! We definitely would go back!

My husband and I had a 1 night stay at the Cotton Palace and would have loved to have spent more nights as the accomodations in Matt's Attic were outstanding! Our breakfast was very well done and just the right portion amount! We have stayed at BnB in Fredricksburg and all the way to McDuff Scotland and have never had so much entertainment at breakfast! The room was so very nicely decorated and the bed was the most comfortable bed!
The location was excellent and the parking very spacious!
We would highly recommend Cotton Palace in Waco if ever a need to see Waco or visit Antioch Church!

Room Tip: Matt's Attic...several sitting areas, several beds for family and extremely quiet!

So glad you enjoyed Matt's Attic! We think that's a great, quiet space on the third floor - lots of room. So glad you let me "twist your arm" to stay there. I knew you would love it! Looking forward to seeing you when you come to visit your daughter this year.
