“Amazing, fantastic staff”
Reviewed 18 July 2014 via mobile

I have to say 1st time staying at the hotel and I loved it, great hotel in waco never expected. One thing I must mention the young lady Damaris is the reason im sure many guest keep returning. They must be be very greatful to have a great worker at your 5 star hotel; she checked me in with a great smile and a couple of minutes later I see her doing housekeeping insuring we get the PERFEFT room love the attention to detail. Even the following morning when a huge group of kids where checking in she had a great smile the whole time; still took the time to ensure I had the perfect stay. I could say better things about the hotel by far great 5 star hotel, and great thanks to the young lady helping us through out or stay.

Thank you for the 5 STAR review! We haven't told the staff but 111 room boutique hotels only qualify to be 3 STAR properties but if you like the best that Waco has to offer this is your place and rest assure the entire team will aim to please! Damaris is a perfect example of why we are the #1 Hotel Indigo in the country, she takes pride and ownership in everything she does and proves day in and day out why she is so valuable to Ownership and Management alike!

Your friends at the Hotel Indigo,

Daryl, Damaris and team!

From the moment you walk through the front doors, you're greeted with a fresh/clean scent that telegraphs this staff's attention to detail. The modern furniture and art are so well-appointed and the staff's pleasant reception of its guests lets you know right away that your stay will be an experience!

I booked this hotel for my football campers and coaches. We had over 100 in our party. They made every accommodation possible for our guys to enjoy their stay and to help us seamlessly transition in and out of the hotel between practices both day and evening, without disturbing their other guests.

Jacqueline our Sales agent worked from the beginning in the planning stages to ensure we would have everything in place prior to checking-in our "large" party.

On check-in day Damaris, with her trademark smile and beautiful spirit, calmly checked-in all of our guys, handled phone calls, quickly made adjustments to rooms (switching names, adding additional rooms, attending to other hotel guests, selling items at the grab and go bar, and keeping me up-to-speed all at the same time! Give her a raise :-)! I was taken by the fact that the Night shift attendant actually stayed later in order to help Damaris get all of us checked in. I wish that I could remember his name. He spent 2 hours with me the night prior to check-in making sure that each of our registered campers had indeed been assigned a room and other adjustments that were necessary.

The Housekeeping staff were tremendous to our campers. The rooms were perfectly cleaned...even in the corners of the bathrooms on the restroom floor...huge! Our campers would return from a hard practice and their rooms seemed as if they hadn't been occupied.

The GM was very present with a smile to ensure that this hotel was running smoothly and that his guests were being well cared for.

Alysha was so upbeat...even on the late night shift...she's beautiful on the outside, but more importantly, she treated our campers so kindly...they love Miss Alysha.

In the end, Janette helped to ensure that my large bill was accurate...down to the penny. She handled checking-out our massive party so smoothly and maintained her smile the entire time.

All in all, stay here...their customer service makes you remember days of old when spending your money at a business meant something to them. The hotel is decorated in a modern style and all of the modern conveniences to which we have become accustomed are there. What makes this hotel extra special though is the throwback to a time when people called you by your last name, served you with a smile and went out of their way to accommodate their guests...we truly felt like guests and not just "people who paid to stay at their hotel."

Thank you, Hotel Indigo Waco-Baylor. We will be back! K. James

"What a Treat" Sometimes you just get a feeling that this is going to be a great group and the entire staff saw this immediately as all the young men attending Camp O football camp were polite, well mannered and thankful of the staffs efforts to make them at home. So recognition is to be given to the Coaches, Sponsors and Parents of these boys for the thoughtful up-bringing they've had!
A Big Indigo thank you from Jacqueliyn, Damaris, Mike, Janette, housekeeping and myself!

Can't wait to see you all next year,

My girlfriend booked the room, for which originally they wanted $250 / night, and got them down to like $179 or so for a stay in July - not football season! This only happened due to getting to the front desk vs. the res center.

Hotel is upscale and modern, very nice rooms. Quiet, even though we were located near the elevator. Staff very courteous and gracious. Didn't try the restaurant but menu looked good.

This is an upper end hotel for Waco for sure. I gave them a 4 star only because I think it is a bit overpriced for the area.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and received a good rate! Just like the airlines prices will fluctuate based on occupancy. If a group cancels a rate may go down on-line, if a group reserves rooms rates will go up. Please know you get what you pay for and we are proud to be the #1 Hotel Indigo in the country and as per our reviews in Waco as well!
Thank you for joining our Hotel indigo Family!

This is a beautiful and modern hotel. The lobby is clean, bright and inviting, and the interior design of the hotel’s restaurant is on trend with an upscale bar in Dallas or Austin (check out the blue tile backsplash behind the bar!).
My husband and I live in Waco, but Hotel Indigo's restaurant is popular with locals, so we’ve eaten there several times. True, it's pricier than a lot of Waco restaurants, but it has a refined atmosphere, an actual chef and a unique menu. You can’t go wrong with the stuffed avocado (an avocado half filled with diced chicken and pico) or an order of short ribs, which are huge hunks of tender meat slathered thick, sweet (but not too sweet) sauce.
My husband and I also stayed at Hotel Indigo on our wedding night. We didn't book a special bridal suite because there really wasn't a need too - our regular room was plenty big. It had a king size bed and a roomy bathroom with a granite vanity and walk-in shower with slate tile.
We definitely recommend Hotel Indigo to all of our out-of-town guests.
