“Truly a Lunch Icon in Waco”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2013

I have been eating at Kitoks for nearly 20 years and I can say I have never had a bad meal there. The burgers are fresh meat that they press out on the grill. The Oriental Fries are fantastic. The Buhlgogi are great as are their yaki mandhui. Hard to beat! It is an older place but very clean!

“Oriental fries? YES!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 December 2013

This tiny little dumpy looking restaurant "in the city" is a wonderful surprise. Their burgers are famous, moist, cooked to order, but the oriental fries are killer! Not sure exactly what they were, but I think really thinly sliced carrots and other veggies in a light, tempura, crispy batter. It is a pile all stuck together like a hay bale. MUST GET THESE! I haven't even tried the korean bbq, but that is next time. GO! You'll love it.

“awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

The burgers are amazing, and the chicken buhlgogi is fantastic. You get a small bowl of chicken potato soup, a small salad with homemade dressing and fried rice with every entree. Their soy sauce is homemade too. Mandu is amazing, it is sort of a egg roll. You cannot leave the place without trying their oriental fries-a mix of thin slices of onions, potatoes, carrots, and parsley, lightly breaded and fried (not at all greasy or oily).
They have several Korean dishes, and Kimchee, but they also have a great selection of burgers, chicken fried steak and other American food. Something for everyone.
The place is small, excellent service and amazing food. I have been going there for over 30 years and have never been disappointed.
Closed Sunday and Monday. Closes at 8pm.
