A smaller zoo but my son still had a fun time. Was under construction when we went, hopefully they are done with it by now.

Overall Pleased with the Zoo, But the animals were tucking back in their caves and hard to see and photograph.

We picked up our lunch and ate it at the entrance way before going in. The family enjoyed all of the animals and the park was very well kept and clean. Definitely recommend this to others!

We took our daughter to the Waco Zoo at Cameron Park recently and it was a nice day.

Lack of wheelchair rental was a negative. Bring your own if you have trouble walking.

Exhibits were simple and a bit dated, and there were very few animals on display, but this is Waco, Texas and not NY, L.A., or San Diego.

Concession stand food was mediocre and overpriced, but not as bad as 6 Flags or other major parks.

Plenty of free parking, and very reasonable admission fees. Easy to find free child admission coupon in the brochure racks of most local hotels.

All things considered, we had a nice day and the weather was cooperative.

Been to most of the zoos in Texas (not Ft Worth)...This was one of the nicest. They don't try to nickel and dime all the way around the park like Dallas does. Spent about 3-4 hours and a had a good time!
