“Not the real location of the 'Wichita Falls'”
Reviewed 31 January 2013

They are okay, look nice, on a nice section of the trail, easy access, but they are man-made and not at the location of the original falls that Wichiita Falls is named for.

“Nice walk”
Reviewed 15 January 2013

It's a nice walk with the kids. They really enjoyed getting to go the the top of the falls. You can also have dogs on a leash. Sometimes the water is brown.

“Manmade, but a nice walk”
Reviewed 3 January 2013

The trail takes you to the site of the original falls, that no longer exist. The "manufactured" falls are very pretty, and the trail to the original, is a nice walk passing by bronze sculptures on the other side of the river depicting the scene of discovery by the Natives.

“Nice to look at...great park”
Reviewed 31 December 2012

I like the falls. I grew up here and there was no falls to go with the town name before this. What I thought was funny was that the falls comes out of the back of a large cemetery. The other thing is the water is brown but the park and surrounding area is very well maintained and safe. Kinda like a central park feeling in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle.

Quite nice. We took photos and walked the trails. Perfect diversion for an afternoon. Very close to the Holiday Inn
