I had eaten here once before, when the restaurant was in the small house that now sits at the entrance to the parking lot of the new, greatly expanded and modern restaurant. That first dining occasion was very good, though not really remarkable.
Our experience this time was excellent. Made an advance reservation and when we arrived were seated at a corner table overlooking the small canyon and creek - perfect.
The salads, appetizers (fried green tomatoes) and entrees were delicious. The pecan encrusted black drum was superb.
Service was friendly, professional and attentive on a busy Saturday night. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had recently.
