We found The Blair House Inn to be warm and inviting, delightfully appointed in an ambience conducive to relaxation and the wonder of nature. The food was outstanding and the hospitality was incredible.

Room Tip: All the rooms have something to speak for themselves. We chose the Dallas room in the Pond House, several yards away from the main house and overlooking the pond. We'll choose that room again (or the adjoining Fort Worth room) when we return.

This was a great little place to stay in the Hill Country. Beautiful views, nice pool, great sunny cottage room and lots of privacy. It's a great launching pad for Texas wine country visits. Spent one whole day just relaxing by the pool and it was great. Plus you get a gourmet breakfast every morning and a evening dessert and wine (though the wine was not the greatest so I would recommend bringing your own).

The Blair House Inn exceeded all expectations for a romantic getaway. From the moment we drove onto the beautiful property and checked into our room (the Houston) the atmosphere and hospitality was nothing less than perfect. Kasi and Ashleigh were lovely and gracious as they showed us around the house and answering any questions. Oh and the food, the breakfast was truly amazing with fresh juice and the best grits I have ever eaten (I am a southern girl and know my grits!). After dinner in town to come back to wine and a delectable dessert in our room was the perfect way to end the day. We drank wine our wine on the front porch and watched the local wildlife. You will not be disappointed with the beautiful Inn. There is also a day spa on the property. I will be trying out services on our next visit! Also during the week on Wednesday there is a local farmers market in town. When you are not dining at the Blair House Inn try the Leaning Pear and Kate’s Place!

Room Tip: We stayed in the main house and loved the "Houston" room. It was very comfortable and I never heard other guests.

The Blair House Inn is really a special little place in the Texas Hill Country. We were both surprised by the level of service and luxury in what we had expected to be more of a B&B. But, this is a true full service Inn. It has a "main house" where meals (breakfast and dinner on Saturday) are served. You eat at individual tables and since we wanted a romantic weekend, we were thrilled to have our own table instead of the B&B style of communal dining. The rooms are actually scattered around and are individual little cottages. We stayed in the FT Worth room overlooking a little pond. We loved the room and the patio overlooking the pond but I think we'd next time request one up on the higher end of the property by the pool. There was more of a breeze up there and we actually would take a drink up and sit by the pool to watch the sunset. The setting is lovely and very relaxing...just what we wanted and needed. And the food!! We went Easter weekend and they had a 3 night minimum that they waive if you eat Saturday dinner at the Inn. It is not cheap, but it is one of the best meals I have had in a long long time. Truly gourmet and well worth the cost. You really miss out on the whole experience if you miss the Saturday dinner, so splurge. You will not be disappointed. We had booked the Blair House Inn because we just wanted an easy getaway, but we really loved it and will be back. A Tip: Friday night we stumbled upon a little place called Linda's fine foods. Had great enchilada dinner under big oak trees in the yard and then sat for hours listening to live music on the patio...was a wonderful night. Highly recommend Linda'as for Friday night dinner and music.

Room Tip: Call the Inn and talk to them. They will help you choose the perfect room for your needs. From what I could tell though, they are all great, just different decor. .

We stayed in one of the out buildings and it was incredible. They had a vintner dinner and the wine and food flowed wonderfully. An early morning walk up ahd down the hill made for a great photo op.
Deffinately will return

Room Tip: Choose an out building there is more privacy and larger rooms.
