We had no problem finding the cottage thanks to the very detailed directions provided with our stay confirmation. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do nearby. The room was beautifully decorated and very cozy. I loved the handmade soap and the fresh flowers. They were nice touches that added to beauty of the room. There were various animals on the grounds and other guests; however, it was truly serene and didn't feel crowded at all. My husband's favorite part was the awesome homemade breakfast each morning...it was delicious! We definitely plan on going back.

We went to the Serenity Farmhouse Inn on a Groupon. We were upset that we had to travel during the week for the deal to be honored, I should have read the fine print when purchasing. The Serenity was far off the beaten path, so you need a GPS to keep from getting lost. The cottage was nice and spacious. It had a king bed as you walked in, and a small table and chairs. The bathroom had a heart shaped whirlpool tub which faced the bed and the TV, there was no shower. My husband was not pleased with that. The tub was not large enough for 2 and not long enough for a man. The area was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was great, very plentiful with a variety of items, and it was different each day. There was a microwave and a refrigerator, no bar b q grill. There were no restaurants around the cottage, you had to drive to town. So bring food with you or be prepared to drive to get something to eat.

Driving there was hectic due to a major rain storm, but once we arrived we quickly loved the place. It is definitely out in the country (several miles out of Wimberley) but v-e-r-y peaceful. Nor big trucks or motorcycles driving by during the night. There were little duplex cottages scattered around, a nice outdoor pool, a covered area for wedding receptions, and several cats (10 or 12). Each morning a wonderful breakfast was brought to our door where we could eat inside or out on a porch. The cottage had a large heart shaped jacuzzi tub and a refrigerator. The person we talked to when we arrived was very nice and pleasant to be around. The whole atmosphere was friendly and romantic. Plenty of room inside and out. No disturbing noises during day or night.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked good and as animal lovers, we were delighted to see the cats roaming around (looking for leftover breakfast, we were told by a fellow traveler).

We spent 2 nights in the Eden Suite at Serenity Farmhouse and it was fabulous! A little hard to find but that is what makes it serene...it's away from everything! The people there are wonderful, the breakfast was incredible and we loved the roomy suite! We will definitely go back for a wonderful, romantic getaway!!

Room Tip: We loved the Eden Suite - had a heart shaped tub and a shower along with plenty of space!

My husband and I recently stayed at Serenity for a relaxing visit. The staff were wonderful, breakfast was very good, and the suite was charming. It is going to be a place we will visit again...romantic and relaxing...all in all it is a place I would highly recommend to those wishing to get away from it all. We did stay in a suite and it was very private with lots of room. Thanks Serenity!
