We loved this hotel! We stayed for two nights while exploring Cedar Breaks and the surrounding area. We could wake up and start hiking, almost from our doorstep. The hotel was clean and roomy, and the view from our window was fabulous! The kitchen was great and so was the bathroom. The tub had water jets - great for relaxing after a day of hiking! The facilities are great - swimming pool, fitness room, gift shop and restaurants on site. The staff were friendly and very helpful!

We only spent three nights here, Of course the rooms were beautiful the area was beautiful, What made everything special were the people. Most especially we were so well treated by the general manager, Don Hudson. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable.

This is a very beautiful area. This was our first time at this resort. My favorite thing was the soft beds! We are Diamond owners and its nice to find a bed where I can get a good nights sleep. Unfortunately, the sun comes through the blinds very very early! Curtains would be welcome. This resort would best be enjoyed in the winter. Our room was very warm, and we kept the windows open. There is no air conditioning, only fans. We had a one bedroom which had windows in both the living room as well as the bedroom. Also, this layout has a fireplace in both rooms as well. that would be mice for a cold winter visit. The shower/tub was a bit high to climb into for my 5'2" frame. The bathroom lights gave off a lot of heat, so I had to use the closet mirror in the bedroom to get ready in the morning. There is a nice game room in the main building with pool, ping pong and a football table. The pool area is quite nice. The restaurant wasn't open the day we went down, so we had a nice dinner in the lounge/bar.

Recently spent two nights at the Lodge. With two families and five kids in all, the lodge provided all the necessary amenities one could expect at that altitude (9000 feet above sea level). The bath tub came with a built in water jet. The view of the hill slopes sparsely covered with snow from the room was quite beautiful as was watching the sun come up at dawn.

The restaraunt and food served are good although we did not get a breakfast free with the room. The Bryce Canyon is a highly frequented tourist spot that can be visited whilst staying here. The spa and the pool are nice. One may suffer from altitude sickness but that is really not something the hotel can do much about.

We had a brunch before we started off on the second day. The staff at the restaraunt are both friendly and hospitable. A good place to stay when travelling through Ceder Breaks with family.

Pros:
- Beautiful view of Brian's Head and the ski slopes from my window
- The indoor pool and hot tubs were wonderful, and we used them frequently.
- The nearby Brian Head Resort is great for $15 tubing for a couple hours. It only takes a few minutes to walk there.

Cons:
- Like people say, the rooms are a little small, but that didn't really bother me.
- WiFi is a rip off AT&T 1 $4.95/hr or $9.95/day. I'm told it's slow too, so I never bothered buying it. You can get "free" wifi from the snack bar, but only if you buy something and only until you leave. (You can't come back and use it unless you buy something else.)
- The people at the counter were friendly, but often gave inaccurate information and poor advice regarding the weather and driving up the mountain when the weather was questionable. They told us that the "tire chains required" lights were on when they weren't, told us to buy chains at Wal-Mart who had none for sale, and one employee encouraged us to call the Brian Head marshall, who did not seem to have any way to help us, when the mountain was too snowy for us to drive up.

Other things to know:
- The 1-bedroom Villa rooms have two stove burners, a small sink, and a smaller than average refrigerator/freezer (though it's much larger than a mini fridge). The kitchenette space is pretty tiny. Only one or two people could use it at a time.
- Kitchenette includes a coffee maker, small blender, 4 place settings worth of large plates, small plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses, small glasses, and some more cups, a large salad bowl, a pitcher, 5 place settings with of silverware, a can opener, a corkscrew, a chef's knife, bread knife, carving fork, a bottle opener, measuring spoons, 4 pots of varying sizes, one of which can be used as a skillet, a small cutting board, a large 2-slot toaster, a spatula, 1 mixing spoon, 1 spaghetti spoon, 1 large and 1 medium Tupperware, paper towels, dish soap, and a sponge. There is no dishwasher, just a small sink. There is also an industrial size microwave.
- Things it would have been nice to have: measuring cups, a mixing bowl or two, a rubber spatula, COUNTER SPACE, somewhere to dry your dishes after washing them

Pro Tips:
- For free wifi, walk across the street to Apple Annie's General Store. You can sit in the small post office area next door and use their wifi for free. The password is posted on the bulletin board in there. (The cashier at Apple Annie's told us about this.)
- Apple Annie's also has $3 for 3-day DVD rentals, which is a lot better than the $5 1-day rentals in the Cedar Breaks gift shop.

We were there for our road trip and were upgraded to a larger suite. Resort was at low season and we had the pool area to ourselves. Our baby happened to find someone's toenail on the floor in the suite which was totally gross. They quickly sent someone to Hoover the floor but in my eyes too late. Service however was above par.

We just got home a few days ago from Spring Break and this is my review...

Pros and Cons - Cons first...

Cons: My whole family had to endure 1-2 days of altitude sickness. We have 3 kids and all suffered terrible headaches. The Advil I gave them didn't seem to work at all. My 9 yr daughter vomited 6 times. On our first night as my kids slept, I saw faces that had pain frowns on all night. I know that because I was up all night due to the terrible splitting headache. I drank gallons and took rapid deep breaths but it did not help. Motrin did not help either. I only wished someone had warned us so I could do some research about that before we went there. Even though pain killers didn't really work, bring some Advil or Motrin anyway and up the dosage a little. That might have done the trick - maybe.

Having mentioned the very important discomfort, once we got through the 2nd day, it was great.

Pros:
We had a lot of fun there inner tubing (3 very young kids) and sledding. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable, only $15/2hrs for tubing. We were very fortunate as it snowed hard on the 2nd and 3rd day so we got to play in soft powder snow. Best thing: it is not crowded at all. Just enough people around so there was nice interaction, but you mostly see views and untouched snow. It was beautiful perfect!

We are Starwood Resort owners (Westin) so this place cannot be compared with it. There is no free wifi (why?) and you have to pay to do your laundry outside your room. Thank goodness we did not have to pay for parking too. The TV is sort of small, but it was adequate. The dishes were a little dirty stacked in the cabinets and the full kitchen was really small. Otherwise, the room space is nice and everything else is clean. Shampoo/Conditioner is stinky so consider bringing your own.

Overall, we like this resort mainly because we had fun. We would go back again but have figure out what to do about the altitude sickness first.
