“Outstanding all the way around”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

We were on our way for an afternoon of hiking and just happened across this place and stopped on a whim. Best decision of the day. It was about 70 degrees outside with a slight breeze so we sat on the deck out back. The deck is covered with sails that allow ample light but no direct sun. the view was great, as we could see the mountains and they had hummingbird feeders scattered around the deck that were busy with hummingbirds. The craft beer selection is good...try a Polygamy Porter. The menu is varied and all four of us had something different. Everyone on our table loved what they had and shared. My favorite was a simple sandwich my wife bought that had real ham and turkey (not lunch meat) and thick cut bacon. The service was very efficient, friendly and helpful with the menu. We would not hesitate to there again if it was going to be on the deck. The inside looked so so from an ambience perspective and didn't have a good view.

“An Oasis in the Mountains”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

We went hiking on a 95 degree day...totally unprepared. After making it down the mountain (up 551 feet and back... Good for northeast Ohioans) we were in need of water. This little mountainside oasis rose up out of no where. The service was excellent. The apple cobbler and chocolate cake were delicious. The water good and cold and refilled as fast as I drank it.

“Great food, Spectacular view!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

I'm a native New Yorker living in Florida so this kind of terrain is obviously foreign to me. But quite honestly, I don't know how anyone could take that view for granted - spectacular is the only word that comes to mind!
Set in the mountain side, spring and early summer is breathtaking. I haven't been during the winter but have been two years in a row during warmer months. Dining while surrounded by humming birds! And.. the food is very good. Simple menu, well prepared, good food. A bit pricey, but what the heck - it's vacation, time to enjoy! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I will definitely be back!

“Breakfast before hitting the slopes”
Reviewed 26 June 2014 via mobile

We frequent Silver Fork often before hitting the slopes of Brighton for breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed and their hot cocoa and chorizo breakfast sandwich is the perfect energizer. The menu isn't the biggest but we've tried just about everything they have to offer and it's all good. I'd eat Silverfork any day over a cellophane wrapped day old sandwich at the resort. We've never had a bad experience with the staff. Great mountain views and food, you can't go wrong.

“Always a treat to eat here!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Dinner is always a treat at the Silver Fork Lodge, but this time we had Sunday brunch. The service was prompt and friendly, the typical breakfast food was great and the outdoor dining is wonderful, one the best places around to eat outside. One improvement would be the brunch salad - it needed more greens and protein in addition to the feta cheese. However, the fresh fruit sprinkled throughout the salad was delicious.
