Not sure why some ended up giving this place less than 5 stars, but it was a happy experience for us here. The rate could have been lower, but in that case there is another one right across the street that is a little older and does not offer complimentary breakfast.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us! The breakfast buffet is a big draw, and we do often have specials available throughout the year to take advantage of. Hopefully you'll get a chance to visit us again!

Beautiful property. We're enjoying sitting in front of a "fire" in the lobby where we feel quite cozy. The room is large, with double sinks and a separate room for the bath and commode. Microwave and fridge are a real plus. Everything is sparkling clean. The large closet has removable hangers, a sign that the clientele here don't usually steal them! Looking forward to a good night's sleep and a hike through Bryce Canyon tomorrow.

The two Best Western properties in Bryce Canyon City are owned by different members of the same family. This is the newer property. It is very typical of a new, lower end property similar to a Fairfield Inn. Rooms are clean and adequate. As with most low-end properties, you can hear people in adjacent rooms, as well as down the hall.

One disappointment was despite a privacy sign on our door, housekeeping woke us up wanting to clean the room.

We had a defective coffee maker. Three calls and 45 minutes later, a new one was delivered. Staff at check-in was friendly and helpful.

If you need non-lodging services, Ruby's Inn across the street has gas station, store and restaurant open 365 days per year. The only place to purchase wine or alcohol in the area is at Ruby's. Only cash is accepted at the liquor store.

We would stay here again especially given the lack of choices.

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor at the end of the hall to minimize noise from neighbors. Not sure it hel...

Helpful staff suggested options including Kodachrome State Park when National Parks closed and allowed us to view a portion of Bryce Canyon that was on the edge of their extensive property. Dining options in the area are very limited. Free breakfast buffet was better than average, but nothing made to order. The hotel is very large but only two floors so you may have a long walk to your room. The extra 100 yards loaded down with luggage seemed like even more after a day of hiking. More expensive than the Best Western in Zion, but less satisfying.

The temporary park closure was a difficult situation, and I'm glad we were able to help people salvage their trips by having access to part of the canyon area. I think you may have meant to say 2 elevators, as the hotel is a 4 story building, but if you're at the end of one of the halls, after a day of hiking, I can understand wanting as short a walk as possible. We do have luggage carts available in the front lobby to assist.

We appreciate your comments and hope to have you visit again! If we can be of assistance in the future, please contact us at 435-834-5770.

The hotel itself is okay. It is really geared toward families and the food is geared toward serving a large number of guests at the easiest and lowest possible price. The biggest problem I had with this hotel was the bed....HORRIBLY uncomfortable. By our third night, we both had back aches and dreaded going to bed...not a good thing. If they could get some comfortable beds, I would stay here again, but no way if they don't!

In November, there are several hearty souls, who venture to Bryce Canyon because the weather can change at anytime. When we were there the weather was windy sunny frigid winter in the fall of the year. The best thing thing that happened to us there besides the beautiful scenery and "hoodoos" was the the Bryce Canyon Best Western Lodge. We understand that the 700+ rooms are all occupied in the summer season, but as it was when we were there, the hotel on both sides of the road and its super duper restaurant on the premises made for a lovely, clean, and comfortable respite from the weather. Wonderfully decorated to fit the canyon theme, it was such a pleasant retreat after being in las Vegas.

Thank you for staying with us! Definitely, any time of year is a good time to visit Bryce Canyon. The summers don't get too hot, and while the winters do get cold, we have a nice warm fireplace to sit by in the evenings and the hot tub for daring souls (it can be snowing and you'll still find people in the tub).

Great hotel for visiting Bryce Canyon. Close to the park and convenient for early morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Fantastic buffet breakfast! Ruby's across the street was good for dinner and there were some small stores nearby for shopping.
