“There's no place like home!”
Reviewed 27 August 2012

I was born and raised in Eureka and moved away in my early 20's. My best friend lived in the house that is now the "Tintic Goldminers Inn". My husband and I returned to Eureka for the Tintic HIgh School Centennial Celebration. We stayed at the "Tintic Goldminers Inn" and we were welcomed like we were family. Our room was large and comfortable with a kitchen which allowed us to feel like we were home. We were able to sit on the balcony and see the milky way and the "in the sky. We travel frequently and have never felt so welcomed as we did by Margaret and Norman, the "Inn Keepers".

Room Tip: If you enjoy looking at the stars choose the Silver Room!

Very nice place to stay. The owner Margaret made us feel very welcome and friendly. Room was perfect, food spot on. All good nothing bad to say would recommend.

Surprisingly nice views from the top of the mountain adjacent to the B&B.

If you are considering Highway 50 (the loneliest road in America) then this is the perfect place to start your trip towards San Francisco.

I will start using Tripadvisor more I only seem to use if experience particularly good or bad!

Thanks again.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice, but pay a bit more and the room is bigger.

WE loved the drive and the hidden environment. Margret makes greatest home style food. We hope to return someday.

Spent Valentines in the silver room. Dinner and Breakfast were both outstanding and filling! The host was friendly, very service oriented. The value of this B&B cannot be topped. We have stayed at several others in Utah, and We WILL be staying here again!

We stayed at the Tintic Goldminers Inn for one night on July 3, 2011. Margaret and Norm were fantastic hosts. The room was comfortable and clean and Dinner and Breakfast were very tasty. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. We enjoyed climbing to the shaft mine just above their home, and a hike to to the Paul Bunyon Woodpile and lLittle Sahara. Although it was July 4th Margaret managed to get somebody to open the Tintic Mining Museum for us when she heard we were interested in seeing it. Thank you, Margaret and Norm!

Room Tip: Silver Room - we could see the fireworks

Margret and family were so welcoming and warm, it felt like we were visiting home. We also have to add how great of a cook Margret is! We had never stayed at a B&B before, and now I think we have been spoiled for future B&B's.. The knowledge and hospitality they have are amazing. The town itself is full of history which they are very excited to share, and their beautiful house is located up on the hillside with the most with amazing views.
Thank you Margret and family for an amazing experience, and we can't wait to be back!!!!!

I am a frequent visitor of Tintic Goldminer's Inn in Eureka UT. If you go during the spring, summer, or fall there are many fun places to walk (or if you are really outdoorsy, hike) to. I love to walk from the B&B to the old Eagle Bluebell mine 1/4 mile up the road and see the old buildings and even peek down the vertical mine shaft (it is covered by rebar, but amazing to look down). There are trails to dirt bike or four wheel on, and plenty of parking for cars/trailers at the B&B. Eureka is a ghost town with about 800 residents, a diner (no In & Out, even though google maps shows one), a mining museum, and a couple of shops open for business. Great breakfast, and dinner is an option, just make arrangements ahead of time. Free wifi is available in the whole B&B, not just in the main rooms.

I was visiting in August 2010, and got to participate in Tintic Days, a local celebration of Eureka's birthday, including a parade, a mountain man rendezvous, food, vendor, an auction at the museum, and entertainment. If you are traveling to Eureka in the summer, check what day they will be celebrating Tintic Days, it is a lot of fun.
