I'm not a huge fan of chains, this was a basic room off the highway for the night.

Herded thru registration efficiently, room was clean, sheets were clean, enough towels were on the rack. The wifi worked well enough, the area is seems safe, gas station and Burger King on other end of lot.

Breakfast offered in the morning - it was packed with people, so we went on our way. Price was a little high for just a room, Green River is becoming an abandoned town except for the big box motels near the 2 exits for towns.... not many food choices in town

There's not much in Green River, so if you're traveling there, it's probably to visit nearby Moab at a more reasonable rate (our reason for checking in to the Super 8), or because you just want a reasonable place to stay while visiting Arches National Park.

Accomodations were adequate. Clean enough, although not sparkling. Bed was a bit hard for me, and I like a firm mattress. LImited pillows.

Breakfast was basically toast, coffee and juice, nothing much more, and on this summer weekend, the eating area, which is quite small, was so crammed there was no place to sit.

On our second morning, we realized that there is a Burger Kind franchise in the gas station across the street, so at least there were breakfast sandwiches there.

Overall, I'd say if you're looking for inexpensive digs that are of average quality, and clean, this would be a choice. If, however, you're looking for upscale, you really have to bite the fairly expensive bullet and keep moving to Moab.

Room Tip: Really, it's all about the same.

We have found the Super 8 chain to be a reliable and clean place to stay....and this one was quite helpful and friendly to us handicapped senior citizen tourists. Handicapped parking right at the door; hilltop view of the town and area, a large lobby, and most of all a nice clean room at a reasonable price! They honored the travel coupon we carried in, so that made it extra sweet, since we were traveling and eating on a budget.

There was a small indoor pool we would have liked to use, but it was crowded with many large families and shouting children playing in the water. The nice selection of postcards in the lobby allowed us to get our "wish you were here" mailings to our family and friends done in one night.
The clerk was kind enough to mail them for us.

Some local brochures were also available for free, in a wall rack adjacent to the breakfast area in their lobby (but they would not allow use of the breakfast area for computers at the tables, nor to watch the lobby TV, even though the breakfast area was unoccupied...seems strange?!)
The strong Utah wind blew in through the double front lobby doors every time they opened and every time the doors opened there was a loud buzzing sound (finally silenced by the night clerk ... thank you!)

There were some leather overstuffed sofas and chairs of comfortable furniture in the lobby area lounge to relax in and to read some books. I confess to taking a nap in the corner chair at the bottom of the staircase (no elevator). Coffee and tea were available all day and into the night. Internet WIFI connection there was OK, not great, so we checked our emails s-l-o-w-l-y on our laptop.

Morning breakfast was the usual Super 8 heavy carbohydrate fare with orange and apple juice (watery) but good coffee and tea.

The next morning we decided on a day-long adventure to the Crystal Geyser, 12 miles away. Before leaving for this attraction way out in the desert environment, be sure to ask the clerk at this Super 8 for some PRINTED DIRECTIONS IF YOU GO TO CRYSTAL GEYSER...very necessary to find this attraction, which we also have reviewed in detail on Trip Advisor. Bring water, sunscreen, broad brimmed hat, insect repellent, and snacks....and a good camera!

Since there were some disappointments with this Green River, Utah, Super 8, we moved on down to Moab, after visiting the Crystal Geyser, where our month-long adventure of April 2014 continued at Arches National Park, which is reviewed separately. We will remember this Super 8 motel as reliable and for heavy carbohydrates!

Room Tip: Try to stay on the first floor if you're handicapped.

I give it 2 and 3 stars.
2 reserved 2 rooms - 1 King, 1 2 Queens. Decent price.
Staff was nice.
Our room was right at the the top of the stairs to the left facing the front of building. When the A/C and door chime were on you could hear it pretty well good thing it gets turned off at like 9pm. The A/C unit, decor needs updates.

Our room (1 king) was decently clean, corners (vacuuming) really needed to be done. Sheets, shower, bathroom, etc were clean.

The second room our friends had looked cleaned too, big complaint was their comforters looked like it had 'body fluid' stains on it..............................

You can hear everyone going down the hall. Dog barking. I know this one isn't really hotels fault.
Pool was dirty, though. No elevator.

You could tell the staff wasn't used to having their facility completely booked. They had to be asked to refill breakfast items, but it is free breakfast - fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, etc

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from lobby area.

This was one of the nicer hotels we have stayed at on our long trip west. The desk people were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower shows some wear, but works just fine. It's a clean hotel. We didn't use the pool or exercise room, but both look in good shape. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable room. Room by the pool was a little too noisy for us. We checked out at 4 a.m. and lady was not nice. We inconvenience her. She couldn't wait to get out side to talk on her phone. Wouldn't even give me a receipt. Too early for breakfast, can't rate it.
