“My 3rd or 4th visit here...”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

This is my 3rd or 4th visit here, and I really love this KOA. We always get a cabin. Stayed 2 nights this time to tour the parks around Moab.

The Management is wonderful - all the staff are super polite, and take the extra time to make sure you are okay. The free coffee and continental breakfast in the morning is a real plus!!!! The pool is very large, and has a wonderful slide and the kids love it.

You are in the middle of the desert, so it is hot and dry. It got pretty windy while we were there, so we had to improvise with our cooking. Each camping site provides a grille for cooking. There is no fire pits at the cabins though, but that's okay!!!!

Again, had a wonderful time!!! Highly recommend you stop here for a night or two - in a tent, RV, or just in one of the nice cabins!!!!

The staff was not at all friendly. My husband entered the office to a barking dog. The campground is a waste land dry and dusty. One of the staff decided to "sweep" the sand with his tractor in the afternoon during a wind storm.... WHY?? The bathhouse is very small. dated and needed cleaning. The shower floors were gross. The tent area backs up to a chain link fence and a motel parking lot, lots of noise all night. We would not stay here again.

This is a nice clean overnight stop campground. I have stayed extensively at KOAs all across the US over the past 40 years. Green River, Utah a small unimpressive town that is a junction in your travels if you are heading south from the Flaming Gorge area or north from the Bryce and Zion Canyon area. It is convenient to several slot canyons and Goblin Valley state park. The KOA system is a dependable clean national campground system that provides a nice loyalty program. The sites here are level but not paved. There is not much grass but the area is well maintain and the host are friendly and helpful. The full hookups include cable. The pool is adequate and clean. It is definitely the campground of choice if you are stopping in the area. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop again if we are in the area.

Room Tip: If heading down scenic highway 24 through Capitol Reef national park and then on down scenic highway...

..on the way to Yellowstone Nat'l Park, this was our first stop again. Have stayed here numerous times, and it's still the same.

Great service !!! The free breakfast got bigger!!!! Yeah - the pool was great w/the slide. The service was wonderful, and they took extra care of us.

The Kamping Kabin was great! Keep up the good work!!!

We stayed two nights at this campground. We had a great spot with some shade and a picnic table which was nice. We had our trailer and a tent for the kids and there was plenty of room. We ended up staying in Green River because everything was booked in Moab and we wanted to go down for Memorial Weekend. Seems like a nice town and the campground was really nice, with a pool, showers and a continental breakfast that was really nice to have. Downside was the price it was pretty expensive for a camp spot. I paid the same for two nights as I did for three last year in Moab. So even though it was really nice and the people were really friendly we will probably try and plan ahead more and book something in Moab next year.

It was getting late in the afternoon so we decided to stop off here overnight rather than drive on to Moab. The town isn't much but the site is very clean, spacious and attractive and the owner welcoming and helpful. Luckily it was cool at night as we had to close the windows because of occasional train whistles although it was quiet otherwise. We had an RV but we liked the look of the cabins and would have preferred them to a motel.

Stayed one night, wasn't expecting much, but was surprised. A lot of the spots are shady, the owner provides a free breakfast which is great. The wifi is so good, you really have to see it to believe it.. The kids loved the waterslide at the pool. I would stay here again for sure
