What a treat to find this lovely tucked away treasure. We had the pleasure of dining with great company, not only the friends we dined with but the ever so nice waitress that made us feel like family. Not only were the portions huge, the food was delicious. It was quite a surprise to find this little jewel in the desert!

We stopped here for a coffee break -- which was fresh and not stewed -- and was offered apple or cherry pie by the very pleasant young lady who was managing the cafe/restaurant. She said the cherry pie was home made and it was quite delicious. We were on our way to Canyon Reef from Arches Park and this family-run stop was a great midpoint. Only one of the ladies' bathrooms was working but I expect there's septic system problems everywhere in this sere land. We also photo'd the US West phone booth outside the sign as that is now telephone history. We saw the lunch menu of ham and bean soup and steak fajita and were nearly tempted but 11 am is really too early for us to lunch!

Room Tip: Ask for any home-made specials and I'm sure they will be good and you will be supporting a fami...

After a long days ride on a motorcycle I came across the Red Rock campground. There was a nice patch of grass out back to pitch my tent, hot showers (not that I needed that hot water!) but most importantly of all a warm welcome from the staff at Red Rock. This is a mom & pop style business worthy of your support if you're looking somewhere to stay as you discover Utah's National Parks

From the minute we arrived we fell in love with this park and its staff. They welcomed us and provided us wit all the information we wanted and more. They spent couple hours with us showing us all the places we should go and what is there to see around. We checked each and every one of them - and we were not disapointed. The restaurant is a great addition too. Althouh not fine dining, the food is decent, and they will accomodate special requests. We will be back!
