Nice location, but paper thin walls and very noisy. One bed had a phonebook propping up one corner of one of the beds also found a soiled cup on the floor upon entering the room. Check in was fast and well done. No elevator (get a first floor if physically needed) and no clock in the room. Even the microwave clock would not work. Breakfast was nice, but very crowded, serving typical fast motel food. Coffee was quite good!
Location is great and just south of Zion NP. Also, only one, small ice machine for the entire two story building.

Staff was friendly and room was very nice. Very convenient to get to Zion Park, only about a 30 minute drive. Breakfast buffet was typical of most hotel rooms now. Places in hurricane to eat so we didn't have to drive too far, but we did go to St George one night for dinner.

We stayed here 3 nights in May of 2013. We would have checked out after 1 night if there was any other place available near Zion. We ran into SEVERAL issues at this Comfort Inn.

1. Bathroom flush didn't work. When we reported that, a teenager came into our room and tried flushing it a few time and then told us "you are supposed to flush the toilet downward, not upward!!" What was he thinking? That we didn't know how to flush a toilet? So we showed him again why it was not flushing - with a piece of toilet paper as a test we showed him and at the end of the flushing cycle the piece was still in the bowl. Then he called someone else - looked like his older brother who brought a plunger and did some work there. Finally it was working. No apology or any sort of communication with us during this whole time except for the kid telling us how we didn't know how to flush a toilet!

2. Next day when we got back to the room after room service cleaned the place we found a dead roach on the carpet. The same thing happened the following day too (probably they never vacuumed it and it could have been the same roach).

3. Both my husband and I started getting rashes on our arms - we think it is leftover soap residue on the sheets. The bed never felt very clean to us.

4. The sheets were torn in a couple of places.

Save yourself the trouble and find someplace else. This area is under served and it is hard to find anything else once you check in, so think very carefully before you book this place. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. By the third morning we somehow just wanted to leave here as quickly as we can. I will never stay here again!

As Choice Elite Platinum member, worst Choice hotel ever by far and Manager, Peter Patel, does not follow up as promised by Becky Patel, a hotel employee. Examples include: unprofessional, unsecure hotel based tech support (at all other Choice hotels provided free 800 number support) that did not solve my problem for the visit (the professional 800 number tech support did); front desk clerk not aware 800 number to professional tech support (and not in guest book) and only given 800 number by hotel based tech support after experiencing their unsecure actions and asking if there was any 800 number tech support; room phone’s line noise made it unusable; couch lower than coffee table; no automatic paper bill; cold eggs and ran out of other food, as front desk also trying to cover breakfast; I marked room number on room card packet at check in and desk clerk said “Did I forget to do?”; etc. The final process failure was when I offered to Becky to discuss my concerns with the Manager, Peter Patel, who was not there while I was during my stay. Becky Patel, Group Sales, said that Peter would call me – he has not to date and it has been at least four days. As I mentioned to Becky, I was not trying to get anyone in trouble, I was just trying to raise my concerns so no one else in the future would have to experience the same inappropriate service.

Room Tip: Check out room before hand, as mine had unusable phone and couch level below coffee table.

We spent two nights at this hotel in May, 2014. The room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly and professional. The gent who was manning the breakfast bar while taking care of the front desk was really hustling and did a great job. The bed was on the hard side and did not offer much support. The real down side is that we put some locally purchased groceries in the refrigerator on the first night and when we got back to the room from visiting Zion NP, it was gone. Certainly nothing irreplacable, but I would say, don't put food in the refrigerator if you are staying more than one night. Other than that, it served the purpose of lodging in a centrally located town.

Very good room, cleanliness, bed, breakfast, value and easy to get to Zion NP. Only drawback is that nearest restaurants are a mile away, which means getting back in car to eat, which after a very long day's drive I wasn't keen to do. Ordered Domino's pizza instead, which was delivered promptly and was hot, so not too bad.

Spent 2 nights here and was very pleased with the inn. Clean, quiet rooms. Helpful staff. Good location - about 30 minutes to Zion NP and about the same to Kolob Canyon. Also close to St George. Good value for the area. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Zion.
