The Bear River Lodge

My family had a great time at this resort. The fishing is great. The ATVs are a blast. The scenery and surrounding area is magnificent. I highly recommend this to everyone. I will return often. I recommend taking the ATVs up to Lily Lake as well as driving up to Mirror Lake and hiking around the area. Mirror Lake is only a 15 minute drive. You may also want to visit Provo River Falls. The scenery is amazing.

Room Tip: We rented 2 entire cabins, so we had the best of it all.

Our extended family recently spent the weekend at Bear River Lodge. The cabins were fantastic for gathering yet large enough to give everyone their own space (2 five bedroom cabins with over 30 people). We never felt on top of each other. The ATV experience was amazing and the kids loved fishing. Plenty to do. We spent one afternoon hiking at Mirror Lake enjoying the scenery. We even had a bonfire one night at the amphitheater nearby. Loved every minute. Roger was kind and accommodating in every way. We left our fry pan there and he found it and brought it back to us. Thanks for the wonderful get away.

Just concluded our second stay at Bear River Lodge, this time summer. We stayed in one of the 5 bedroom cabins for three nights. Cabin was very nice and quite comfortable for our family of 9. Pool was fun. The High Uintas Wilderness area is incredible. We really enjoyed our hikes to Fehr, Shepard, and Hoover lakes. The hike to Ruth lake is incredibly beautiful. Saw several moose and deer. We also had a great time riding ATV's.

With this location you need to bring whatever food you need during the stay (The store has limited supplies and nearest grocery store is 30 miles away). Kitchen was stocked very well with cooking and serving ware. If you bring your own ATV's or Jeep make sure to bring spare gas for your stay. (Rentals are fueled from the lodge)

Room Tip: We stayed in cabin 7 and found it very nicely appointed and roomy. We've stayed in a 2 bedroom...

Just back from our 3rd trip to the Cabins at Bear River Lodge. This place has it all. We love the close proximity to OHV and Snowmobile trails. Fishing is awesome as well. Great place to take your family. We always enjoy our stay at the cabins!

Room Tip: All of the cabins are a little different as to decoration but you can't go wrong with any of the...

We were looking for an escape from the 100 plus degrees hitting our state, and the closest place to go was into the high Uintas. We decided on Bear River Lodge, especially since they offered us a 75 percent discount on two nights stay. It is a beautiful location, and the temperatures were much cooler and refreshing. The cabin we stayed in, though very roomy and complete with a fully equipped kitchen, only had a couple of downsides...one was we were the only cabin out of the 8 or 9 they have that didn't have a deck, thus no view except for some wooden pallets outside the door...every other cabin had a great deck, and a view out over the Bear River. Then, there were the beds..sorry, but even the beauty around us could not bring softness to the bed or the futon. They were both as hard as a rock and we were hurtin' for certain all day. We opted to leave @ 6:30 am on our last day as sleep had totally escaped us, and we were so tired.

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin that has a deck so you'll be able to enjoy the incredible view high above the ri...

This is our second time visiting and we love it. The location is beautiful and very relaxing if you like the outdoors. The ATV rental is such a blast to go up to the different lakes and explore. We have 4 kids and they loved every minute and never wanted to stop. We will be back.

Room Tip: Get the package with the ATV rental included.
