The location of this lodge was terrific for walking in Kanab. We stayed there based on the reviews but I must say we were a bit disappointed. The rooms could use help. They were clean but dated. And I really found the pillows very uncomfortable. On the other hand, the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Good deal. Clean rooms and a pool to relax after a long day of hicking through the desert. What more can a person want for a really low budget price. Kanab is a great place to stay when one wants to visit Bryce, Zion, Coral Pink Sand Dunes and so much more, and the Aikens lodge is certainly a good deal in this little town.

We look forward to returning to the Aikens Lodge. It is so clean a person can feel completely comfortable. Plenty of drawer and hanging space so no living out of the suit case when planning to be in the area for a little while. We find the bed very comfortable. The entire property clean and well maintained, everything worked! We enjoy the location since Aikens Lodge is centrally located. We have stayed in one of Kanab's other motels. We have found Aikens Lodge much cleaner and more comfortable. The room is equipped with a mini refrigerator, hair dryer, flat screen TV and WiFi. There is free coffee and computer available to the guests in the office/lobby and an out door pool. We find the Aikens Lodge to be a bargain for it price. The house keepers are friendly, honest, hard working and cooperative. If suggestions for food, or things to do are needed Bill and Krista are willing and able to help. Looking forward to returning next summer.

I highly recommend this motel. It is CLEAN, quiet, and the people who run this place are super nice and friendly. I come to the area quite often for photo trips and this is my place of choice. Often times, I would need an additional blanket or something I forgot at home and the staff would always willingly help out. The Internet works fine, the pool is small but clean and well maintained. This place does not offer breakfast but there are many good breakfast places around. The reception has freshly brewed coffee each morning. There is also a computer with a printer to print your boarding passes or surf the net. The motel offers small (cheaper) rooms for a single traveler as well as rooms that sleep anywhere between 2 and 6. Make sure you book ahead of time during the high season. The only thing I wish is that the place was open off season ;)

We stayed here en route to Monument Valley from Vegas. The rooms were simple but cosy, the bed was comfy and the a/c was a godsend in 38degree weather! And the room was quiet even with groups on either side of us. Bill and Krista were polite and helpful and gave us some good tips on where to eat. If Kanab was near another journey we were taking, we'd have no problem staying here again.

We needed a place to stay between the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and Zion N.P. Kanab is a nice little town on the way, and based on TripAdvisor reviews, we booked a relatively cheap room here. (Maybe paid about $79?) Our room with 2 queen beds was huge, and had a mini fridge. The furniture looked like it was straight out of 1978, but it was still in good shape, and everything was clean. The management may be a little OCD with their notes everywhere, telling you to do this or not do that, but I grew up with that at home so it didn't bother me too much. We were pulling a pop-up camper and were worried about where and how to park it, but the staff was very helpful on that point. (We ended up parking out in the far back in a gravel lot without lighting; nothing happened to our camper, though.) They only had coffee for breakfast if I remember correctly, but McDonald's isn't too far. With the savings on the room, we could buy some breakfast. Overall, a great place to stay!

Room Tip: We were way out back in a 2-queen room; lots of room in there.

Friendly owners and great location. Came for one night, stayed for 3. Central location to visit Zion, north rim of Grand Canyon, and the Wave. Rooms were clean, nice to have bedroom separate when traveling with kids.
