“What a Burger!”
Review of Big Al’s Burgers

Big Al’s Burgers
Ranked #9 of 41 Restaurants in Kanab
Cuisines: Fast food
Description: We learned about Big Al's when we asked two locals where they went to eat. They were kind of reluctant to tell us, kind of glanced at each other and then gave up the name. We went at 1:30 on a Friday, and there was always a line to order the entire 45 minutes we were there. The limited menu is cooked to order, so there is about a ten minute wait for your food. This place is a hidden gem and we seemed to be the only non locals there. My green chili burrito was delicious, the sweet potato fries flavorful and others in our party were equally happy with their selections. Big Al's is located right next to a MacDonalds, and sure was doing more business.I almost hate to add it to the listing because Kanab is a tourist town, and this seems to be the local go to place that does a good business without advertising in any of the tourist publications.

“What a Burger!”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

My son had heard great things about Big Al's, so he insisted we try it out. Wow - what a burger! This place does burgers the way they are supposed to be done. I had a regular burger, but my son had a double burger with pastrami and bacon. Although it was necessary to block out the thought of what it was doing to his arteries, it was one of the tastiest burgers I have ever tried.
If you are into burgers, this place is not to be missed.

“Enjoyed the buffalo burgers and service”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

After driving all day, we didn't feel like a big meal and Big Al's fit the bill. We ordered buffalo burgers and thoroughly enjoyed them. They were cooked exactly as we requested and were delicious. The fries were hot and cooked to perfection. Note the Big Al's is closed on Sundays. The gentleman that took our order was friendly, helpful, and funny.

“Good Burgers”
Reviewed 11 September 2013

Good burgers, and selection of sides. Shakes are overpriced. Just a home-owned fast food place to grab a quick meal.

“Good enough when you're on the go”
Reviewed 2 August 2013

We got two buffalo cheeseburgers to go with drinks and onion rings. It was typical fast food type food and service. Nothing spectacular about the food and we could not tell it was bison verus beef. The teenager who took our order seemed bored and when asked for the second drink we ordered, she looked confused.

“Good burgers after a long trip.”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Al's is a local joint and we try to favor these over the chain options. They offered buffalo burgers and their own custom combinations as well. The shakes were also made by hand, not pumped out of a machine.
