For a family of 6 we found Parry Lodge to be perfect accomadations for our two nights in town. One room had 3 beds in it, 2 queens and a twin, which was perfect for us, and we had a second room with 1 queen bed in right next door to each other. My mother and brother are early risers and when no one else would get up the second morning they went down to the resurant and had a great breakfast. The rest of us were able to use the small kitchen in the 3 bed bedroom to cook eggs and have cereal as there were some pots and dishes in the room. As we were coming in from Moab and Arches national park that day we did not arrive till almost 11pm.Our keys and room numbers and directions were ready to go and all we had to do was check in the next morning with the front desk, super easy.My mom who is 80, realy enjoyed seeing all the actors names around the place and got a lot of nice pics.
Great base camp for us as we were drawn for a pass to hike "the wave" and it was only a 45 minute drive to trailhead.
Clean rooms and comfy beds as well

We stayed at the Parry Lodge in mid-November and were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the room and the quality of the restaurant breakfast. We opted out of the free continental since we eat protein and there wasn't much.

The Parry is quaint, clean and priced right, but know that you will hear every sound your neighbors make. The continental breakfast is really poor quality. Kanab is a jewel of a place though, so no matter where you stay, you're going to love what the area offers.

First let me say that the guy at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. The old-fashioned key to the room did not work and neither did the second key. The maintenance man came to help and he said you have to put the key in, push down on knob, and shake it. Then you had to push as hard as you could to open door. To close the door you had to slam it so hard that the old building shook. The dead-bolt was out of alignment and would not lock. The room smelled musty our entire stay and the old box TV was very small. The free wi-fi did not work. On the positive side, the room was very clean.

We spent one night here and it was very good especially for anyone traveling with pets. It was 64.00 for two adults and one pet. We also had a very nice breakfast comped by the hotel in their restaurant. It was interesting to read the movie stars names over some of the doors....they told us that they had actually stayed there back in the day when westerns were being made around this area. The room was clean and looked like it had been painted recently.
