“Locals and hopefully you will find this treasure!!”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

This is truly an amazing find, not eye catching as you approach or enter it but it delivers smiles at every turn beyond that. The staff does not wear aprons or uniforms but jeans, tattoos and look of a 2014 misplaced hippie from the 60's with big smiles and the desire to somehow make you day better for stopping here. OK, the coffee is better than Starbucks and the pastries are good at prices that are very reasonable, which have helped build this into a local hangout. Now, comes the kicker, a crazy beautiful panoramic view of the Virgin River from high on a cliff. This place ain't much to look at from the road but wow is it worth a visit!!

“Score for coffee lovers/snobs/Portlanders ... Home made pastries & amazing GF muffins a bonus!”
Reviewed 29 July 2014 via mobile

Holy cow I am SO happy I found this little unexpected diamond in the rough!

This is a dessert haven for us Portland coffee snobs who suffer without our good fix and resort to Gas station coffee on the road. I can live with gas station coffee on a road trip, but finding a gem like this is an amazingly pleasant surprise.

Unfortunately, this is a bit of a drive from Zion/Springdale, but it's worth it if you're craving something other than the quaint but disgusting Deep Creek fix (so sorry to say that... I love the Eco friendly cups and sweet smiles at DC, but found out that they rotate their bean sources each month and this month the quality is about level with Starbucks... Burnt bitter and worthy of a toss. I wish they leapt their roaster standards up to par or simply stuck with River Rock Roasters.)

RRR co has fantastic quality, amazing home baked pastries and even Gluten free options! I am devouring an incredible home baked GF raspberry muffin as I write... And an out back shaded deck with a view worth a million.

Highly highly recommended for people who appreciate good, locally roasted, quality coffee and who need a fix to last you before heading home to your favorite spot.

“Great coffee, pastries, sandwiches and service on the way to Zion”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

The service here is always great. Coffee is superb along with pastries and interesting quiches. Love the sandwiches that have recently been added to menu. If your looking for good quality food with great service that won't pinch your pocket book this is the place. View from patio is awesome

This is the best place to grab a simple meal in Hurricane and LaVerkin communities.

“Amazing Coffee Shop”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Coming from Zion National Park, this coffee shop caught my eye as I passed it. Glad I turned around! Not only was the coffee great, but there was a great outdoor seating area with a view.

“Best Coffee Shop”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Great Staff!
Wonderful Coffee!
Amazing Venue!
I first stumbled onto this vintage and modern bit of heaven in October of 2013. I'm usually there twice a week for coffee and a muffin (or quiche, or rolls or sandwich or....) you get the idea!

Thank You, Jim and everyone at River Rock Roasters!
