Sam, at the front desk, was friendly and efficient and welcoming. Very important stuff. The motel/hotel has well-appointed, spacious rooms, excellent wi-fi and a decent morning breakfast included. We enjoyed our one-night stay at this spot and would return next time we're underway to Yellowstone National Park in the north. Recommend this place over the Super 8 down the street where the desk clerk was surly and unfriendly, a deal-breaker as far as we were concerned.

Location was just off the freeway so easy access. Older facility. Needs to spend more time/money on keeping things cleaner. Ran out of some breakfast food early in the morning. This hotel was a disappointment.

Overall the stay was pleasant, and the proximate location to our meetings in Lindon was great. Close to restaurants and entertainment. The beddings was comfortable and the service was great. They also had conservative TV program on the breakfast area. Good Idea.

Sam, the gentleman who checked us in, was nice. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarette smoke so I called down to inquire if there was another room. It reeked something fierce.

Sam came up and sniffed, apologized and led me to check the two other rooms that were vacant. The first smelled of feet but the second was clean. So we moved. Sam hovered over us as we were dragging luggage with road weary muscles- it was 6pm and we'd been driving since midnight.

He watched us like a hawk. I mean, what are we going to steal? Towels??!

If you're going to be so blatantly untrusting, at least have the courtesy to help. It might ease the blow a little for your guests.

There was a generic set of shampoo and conditioner but no lotion, which my man and I had left at home and were in need of because driving through Utah is terribly drying. Bedside the hair products was a sign that said

Hotel is trying to charge us for damages we did not do. Did not notify us before charging my card. Manager was very accusatory and rude. So let this be a lesson to everyone else to photograph their room on check in.

We also had to listen to kids running up and down the hall late, and they said nothing to other guests who were very loud and rude at breakfast.

We found dog food kibble in our room too - did they even LOOK in our rooms? We know they didn't vacuum.

Room Tip: on the end so you can't hear the kids running up and down the hall as much
