This home was the perfect stay for my family. This space was great, internet and Directv was a good bonus.
Would definitely recommend booking a stay here if staying in Ogden.
This is a very nice apartment-style space. I appreciated the view of the Utah mountains from the kitchen window!
I had a fantastic experience staying at this house, the host keeps everything extremely clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of cooking options in the kitchen, and the rooms were never too cold or too warm. Close to many of the Salt Lake City attractions, it was a fantastic experience and I hope to come back soon!
From the street it doesn't look like much, but venture up the rustic entryway, and you're in a spacious, 4-bedroom, 3 full bath unit, complete with fully equipped kitchen (which is huge), living area, and cozy breakfast nook-for-two. Nice deck (overlooking a not-so-picturesque alleyway) for relaxing at the end of the day to watch the sun set.
Hosts Emily and Pieder are great. They love Ogden, the attractions, and the area in general. If you need anything, they're pretty responsive and handy.
We stayed there for a wedding, and there was more than enough room for us. Three bedrooms have either full or queen beds, and one has bunks. "Master" bedroom has its own private bathroom, and the other three share two full baths in the hallway. Everything seems newly remodeled. It's very bright, with lots of dimmers to change the mood down to chill.
The location is on a quiet street, just a short walk to some historic homes on Ecles. If you stay here, walk to the Mercantile coffee house, which is about 15 minutes away, while viewing the beautiful Wasatch mountains the whole way.
Be aware that this is on the second floor of a duplex, so you've got to trundle up a flight of steps (and back down of course) as you come and go. Ample parking in the rear, accessible via a narrow gravel driveway, or you can just park on the street.
I had arranged for our family to reunion (11 people) in late June through July 3. We arrived and departed at separated on different dates. While there we prepared meals in the spacious common area. We enjoyed the separate rooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and the owner was responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this Airbnb for both small and large groups.
Our accommodations felt more like home than being in a hotel. We were not crowded and had plenty of space. It was a quite relaxing neighbor and close to stores and restaurants. It was so nice to be able to retreat to my own room when tired. We had a four day conference to attend and there were 5 in our group. In a hotel room we would have had to split into multiple rooms and leave the room if we needed me time.
Emily's place is the cleanest I've rented, with plenty of thoughtful, personal touches. It is obvious that she care about her guests and wants us to have the best experience. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were soft and felt luxurious, the bathroom and the kitchen were sparkling clean, the living room was cozy and homey, there were plenty of hangers in the closet and even extra blankets for people like me who run cold. I will definitely stay with Emily again if the opportunity presents itself.
