Owner description: For 50 years this stately and historic depot served as a major hub for transcontinental rail service. Today, it remains a monument to grand rail stations of the early 20th-century and includes four museums: the Utah State Railroad Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Browning Kimball Car Museum and the Browning Firearms Museum.

“Dinosaur Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014

Life size dinosaurs and some 'scary' audio as you walk the park and see many different critters. (Don't let their 'millions of years' myth throw you as the 'science' of age dating has many built in assumptions and is therefore NOT science but speculation) it is really quite well presented.)

“Interesting for train enthusiasts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

If you have an interest in trains, this is worth a visit. Several different types of old trains are on display, and it is possible to see them up close. Unfortunately, the station building was closed when I was there, but it was still worth a visit just to walk around the grounds. There are some great photo opportunities if that is your interest. Recommended.

“Perfect place for photos.”

The old trains here the perfect place for family pictures. Tons of history here with the olkd steam engine. For more fun check out the Browning firearms museum upstairs, it is awesome!

“Four in one!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2014

Four museums in one place! Cowboy (Ogden Pioneer Days), train, Browning firearms, and cars! One price for all four! We had a nice lunch at the restaurant inside Union Station too. Great stop for a rainy day.

“Family fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

There is a lot here, and the price is really reasonable! First is the train museum, with large trains outside that you can see. Inside is the huge HO scale layout, that goes from room to room, and would delight any child or model train enthusiast. There is also quite about train history in Ogden. Then is the gun museum, where you will see a lot of history as well as guns used in the world wars. I'm not a gun enthusiast, but even I enjoyed it. Last is the car museum, and although there aren't a lot of them, the ones they have are wonderful! Most are very rare, and were great to see. It is definitely worth the time.
