“So Many Unique Exhibits”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Ogden RR Museum is a real treat for RR lovers. There is so much to see and many unique items in this museum. Tressels from the old track that spanned Great Salt Lake are here. The original building's freight scale, a handy dancer, lots of wonderful pictures are all well-displayed. Lots of history here. We have been to many RR museums (big and small) and were really impressed with this one.

“Great for train lovers”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

The indoor exhibits are geared towards young children, and our grandkids (ages 4 & 7) loved it. It included some historical exhibits, but mostly hands-on areas for the kids and a series of model trains. If you're more into the life-size trains, skip the indoor museum and walk the outdoor exhibit of train cars (no ticket required). You cannot climb on the outdoor train cars or enter them (although a few are accessible via scheduled tours), but they are well laid out, with paved sidewalks between the rows of cars. For tickets to the museum, enter the Union Station building on the left-hand side and go to the ticket counter. You can purchase one ticket (and receive a hand stamp) that gets you into all of the museums in the building including the small cowboy museum, the train museum and a vintage car exhibit. We saw it all in about 2 hours.

“Great way to spend a day!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

This is really 4 museums in one. We loved the railroad and classic car exhibits. Well worth spending a good part of the day. We went on a weekday and we almost had the place to ourselves. Glad we came.

“4 Museums in 1”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

Located within the Union Station, which also houses a Cowboy Museum, Browning Gun Museum and a car museum. I enjoyed all of them, but I wish I had more time to spend reading all the displays, I was on a schedule and only spent about 2 hours in all the museums.
