Decent enough standard room with some quirks. Funky lamp up on the wall next to bed, switches can't be reached without actually getting back up. Noisy little refridgerator that had to be unplugged at night. Good meal at adjacent restaraunt. In-room wireless internet actually worked well. Maintenance/cleaning of hot tub in excersize room appeared to be nearly non-existent. Was marginally better than the Day's Inn downtown stayed at last visit.

The bed was way too soft. The toilet didn't work properly. The sink was stopped up. The desk sent a repairman who improved the plumbing situation. The floor was not clean. Yuk. Not a good value for the price.

A clean, comfortable pet-friendly motel in North Ogden with a small pool and an adequate restaurant (best for breakfast, OK for dinner).
Completely renovated recently. The service was helpful and gracious.
Behind the motel they have added a small park with walking trails, a waterfall, and park benches with plenty of room to walk dogs, take in mountain sunsets (best if enjoyed early or late, given the summer heat). Wireless internet reliable. Small fridge and microwave in room.

Caveats: A bit close to the freeway, so it is not tranquil outside. Attention latte-lovers: We could find no coffee house anywhere in town. Jeremiah's (the motel restaurant) has an espresso machine. The trains were not obnoxiously loud (We were on the 12th-street side of the motel).

Rooms in the back hear constant trains & horns. Location provides easy access to Eden and the Ogden ski mountains. Lots of nearby dining.

So first, don't stay on the back side of the hotel if you want internet access, it's not available as advertised. Not to mention you have to deal with the 130 year old maids blowing smoke in to you room. Next after the first juggle of rooms, our second had a shower that would scald you then freeze you the scald you again. Now when I say scald I'm not kidding, When I pointed this out to the staff they said they didn't know how that could happen but said they'd fix it. The next morning I was in the shower being scalded again, so again I had to move rooms, seeing as how I'd been completely ignored by the staff. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or it's staff.
