The room was very basic and just did not feel clean the bathroom floor was wet dont know why, but to late to ask for another room just put bath towels on the floor. The TV was old and played horribly didn't know if it was due to location or to the quality of the TV been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel without a flat screen TV. The adjoining restaurant is BAD. I had pulled pork sandwich and husband had 1/2 rack of ribs both were dust dry had to cover everything in sauce to get some taste sauce from a bottle, sides were below average. Won't stay here again and was surprised at some of the reviews by other travelers, maybe I got an old room whose to knowl

Room Tip: do not take room 821 with a king bed the bathroom had water on the floor and when i wiped up the wat...

I stayed here for one night on a trip from Zion to Bryce and then on to SLC. Didn't actually get into Bryce or Zion due to our dysfunctional government but that's a whole different story. This motel was recently changed over to a Quality Inn. It is easy to find (on 89 just north of 12). There are several buildings to the property (I stayed in the Bronco building). The room was surprisingly very large, had a fridge and microwave, was clean and the bed was very comfy. The only negative was that the breakfast was a bit skimpy but I've had worse. I booked through hotels.com and got the room for $78. An unbelievable value-I highly recommend if you are looking for cheap and solid accommodations. Side note-if you are going to be in the area soon and are frustrated that you will not be able to hike in Bryce there are several really nice places to hike very close to here. Less than 5 miles from this motel is a portion of Dixie National Forest. Golden Wall trail is a great hike with excellent views. There are also some good trails in Red Canyon (part of Dixie). If you drive about 20 minutes to Cannonville there is a very nice state park called Kodachrome-excellent hiking there as well.

We arrived, luckily, just as the sign was being changed to Quality Inn. This resort has 5 or 6 separate buildings with recently updated rooms. The rooms are clean and large, with fridges and micro. The bathrooms are huge, with ironing boards and coffee pots. The location is a few miles off the access road to Bryce Canyon, so for multi-day visits, this might be inconvenient.

Sonney's BBQ is next door, where the free breakfast is served. The breakfast is good, but fairly basic.

Room Tip: Downstairs room do have some noise from upstairs rooms.

This was a hotel I booked on Hotels.com -- big mistake. I booked a king "suite". I was given a room with two full size beds. After walking back to the office -- there are no phones installed- I was given the correct room. This was hardly a "suite" and was basically a repainted 1960's motel room. The carpet was the cheapest available indoor/outdoor carpet. It was both dirty and stained -- as well as being torn and worn through by the doorway. The only light available in the entire room (other than a ceiling light) was a floor lamp in the corner. The mattresses were also of the cheap thin variety giving little support and allowing even less sleep. Due to various problems with the room I was forced to walk back to the office a total of 6 times -- in total about half a mile due to the size of the so called "resort" -- again no phones were installed.
We also ate at the onsite restaurant which was a BBQ place. The food was average at best. Eat before you arrive here! This hotel seems to be another victim of certain nationality that seem to be taking over the hotel business. This statement is NOT meant to be discriminatory -- just factual.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere!!!

My husband and I stayed here on our road trip trough Utah and I have to say the hotel surprised me. It has nice rooms in a Motel setup, but very charming with the western style. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. They do serve breakfast, but it doesn't offer much fresh stuff, mainly bread and sugar (waffles included for those who like it). But it has Wi-Fi and its really close to Bryce Canyon, so if you want to go there the Resort is a good stay with a good offer for the money they charge.

Despite the cute, western look to this place, this was the worst hotel experience I have EVER had! Called ahead for a room with a view - I got one facing a dirt road. Asked to be moved - carpets were FILTHY, and reeked of deodorizer, trying to cover cigarette odor. Then the power went out - and no backup generator. I need a respirator, so I said I had to check out. Staff was SO rude! They tried to tell me I would have to pay anyway! Finally got my refund after complaining to management the next day. DO NOT STAY HERE -

Room Tip: Go back to Panquitch 8 miles north and stay at New Western Motel - clean rooms, electricity, a wonde...

We stayed here for two nights as part of our road trip. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable but quite shabby - several holes in the carpet, no plug in the basin, no iron or board. There is a lot of potential here but it was lacking in atmosphere and the breakfast was depressing. The room allocated was reached down a long municipal corridor and the room itself was not large enough to seat all the guests so that we had to go without on our second morning. The first breakfast was extremely basic and the orange juice was watered down and undrinkable. Sited very well away from the hustle and bustle of Bryce Canyon itself but no likely to stay again.
It could also do with a swimming pool as it is so hot in that area.
