    Stay somewhere else

    When you stay at one of the upscale hotels, e.g. Hilton, you expect them to charge you for wifi, parking, etc, but you also have an expectation of modern rooms and good service. With this place you still get the charges, but lose those expectations. We stayed there for four nights, room was not cleaned, we had to track down housekeeping for towels and you know that little packet of coffee they put in your room; I used it on my second day and when I asked for another one, they charged me $2. Save yourself the three figure price tag for a mediocre room and the $15/day resort fee.

    Dear Gary P,

    We're sorry you were disappointed with your stay. As you can imagine each resort is different. The Hilton Hotel you mentioned is definitely a wonderful brand at the four star category while we are a three star resort. Their rates are considerably higher than our property's.

    We have made all the daily rental fees inclusive - the resort fee covers Wi, Fi, Parking, Bike Rentals, DVD Rentals, Coffee and tea service in the lobby, Continental Welcome Breakfast on Monday, Wine and Cheese on Monday, Margarita Nights on Wednesday, Movies on Friday and courtesy shuttle van.

    We feel the daily resort fee provides great value by making it inclusive as opposed to daily wi fi at $15/day and daily parking at $15 per day not to mention the other benefits. As a timeshare exchanger, you receive a welcome kit in the room, and mid week services. You compared us to a Hilton - they also have a daily parking fee of $15 per day - and they also only provide mid week services for exchangers

    Rental guests receive daily housekeeping services.

    I'm sorry we were not in line with your expectations. We hope you give us another try in the future.

    Perfect Getaway!

    Great customer service and beautiful atmosphere! Private and secluded it keeps you away from the crowds but close enough to the yummy eating establishments. Easy access to walking paths and bike trails.

    Not the best resort to stay for family vacation.

    I was very disappointed at this resort that we stayed during our family vacation in Park City. First, the cleaning lady hardly speak English, when asked for shampoo, she gave us one instead of asking how many. No toilet paper replenishment. One night, the shower was cold instead of hot water. Dishwasher leaks, lack of detergent.

    The pool did not have any towel and you have to ask for them at the front desk. When done, giving it to cleaning lady, they refuse to take them. No sponges to wash dishes and kitchen amenities are not complete neither.

    Game room is empty and required a charge to play their games. Nothing to do at the resort except ping pong. They ordered a horseback riding tour for our family which we did not request.

    On Friday movie, night, they have a "R" rated movie then changed to PG-13 due to lots of kids around. Popcorn was not done correctly.

    Staff are overall lack of training, most of them don't know what they are suppose to do.

    Please accept our apologies for creating an experience which necessitated you writing such a review.

    I had met you in the hallways and received the impression you were having a fun time with your family. I had also met with my team and they were not aware we had let you down or were aware of any service issues.

    I spoke to my concierge about the horseback riding tour - there must have been a misunderstanding.

    I've sent maintenance to check the dishwasher. Also regarding your comment on the housekeepers I will admit that a few of them have limited English skills which is improved through language lessons. Yes all of the towels are at the lobby desk. As for the movies we are a family resort so we show the PG version for movie nights.

    Clean, great service & close to Downtown

    A small property well managed and maintained with "family" type staff. Very helpful and conscientious. They have a few bikes which makes it convenient to explore the area, even bike downtown. There is also a City shuttle bus that drives by periodically.

    Fantastic stay in Park City

    My wife and I were planning on taking a few day staycation in Park City this year for our anniversary. We found Park Plaza Resort and booked it immediately. When we arrived, we were greeted by some of the nicest staff that we have encountered in our traveling careers. They were very helpful in guiding us through the process as recommending well as great spas and places to eat in the area. The resort is located a short distance away from the very busy main street which was nice in regards to keeping things very quiet and private feeling. It was close enough though that we were able to visit all of the Park City sights within a few minutes. Our room was large and very comfortable. It was well furnished and very clean. The full kitchen and 3 bathrooms were a huge plus and we felt at home there. We had the chance to meet the Assistant General Manager, Ulises, who was very kind and courteous. If you are looking to get away for a few days, or even take a few weeks off, Park Plaza Resort is the place to stay.

    Room Tip: I would choose the 2 bedroom rooms because they seem to be located closer to the outer corners of the building and away from foot traffic.
