Great drop off for the little ones if you need a moment to yourself or just to let the kids use up some energy... This is a fantastic idea, especially for the wet miserable days in the shoulder season of Park City. Thank you Monkey Mountain!

“Rude staff but good place to spend an hour or two”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 December 2013

We have a vacation home in Park City so travel here quite frequently. We have taken our kids (8, 6 and 1) to Monkey Mountain a few times for some supervised indoor play. They have a climbing structure, snack area and a few seats for parents to hang out. This week, our 1 year old has been there 3 times with our nanny and the staff has just been so rude. You would think they would be grateful for the repeat business!

The first day, they charged us the "drop in" rate. The next day, they argued with our caregiver and tried to charge her an hourly "drop off" rate even though she was staying the whole time to supervise our son. In the end, a different person charged her the flat rate. She also asked for the number of a local taxi and the staff said they didn't know any taxis. Really? Have they heard of Google? When she asked for the phone book, the girl behind the desk begrudgingly gave her one.

The next day, my husband went in to ensure that they didn't give our caregiver a hard time and they argued with him saying there is a different rate for parents vs. caregivers. However, in any of their literature or on their website, there is nothing stated to that effect. They are just trying to charge more. We were not using a groupon or any other coupon. We just want to pay the advertised rate. Monkey Mountain staff members have been inconsistent on their rates and are just trying to charge us more.

I certainly wouldn't leave my child in a drop off program with the less than intelligent and rude staff in charge of caring for him!! But with a parent or caregiver, its a fine place for kids to play indoors and blow off some steam when it is super cold out.

“Great place for kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 December 2013

My daughter loves Monkey Mountain. It's an indoor playground and you can go with your kids or call ahead to schedule drop off. The staff is super nice and they have arts and crafts as well. Great break from the snow.

“Deceiving”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2013

We took our kids there after a day of shopping. The pictures on their website are deceiving. They make it look and sound like it's a big place with lots fun things to do. No! Monkey Mountain is one small climbing tower and one small lounge area for the parents. It's basically a small daycare. I saw many gym or working moms drop off their kids for a few hours. And one in particular was going to work all day and left the kids there all day. Food is not allowed in there. How can they expect a child to spend 6-8 hours playing in the same small area? Once the kids climbed the tower two or three times there was nothing else to do so the $10 per child was not worth it because we weren't there for a whole hour.
They need to call it what it is: a fancy, extra small child care center with no nap area, or food for the kids. And it was not fun for the parents at all. Nothing like Boondocks or other real family centers. The space is too tight and the place is hard to find because it's hiding inside a building and it has a small sign on the front. I heard other parents who were there for the first time talking about how dissapointing the place was.
Needless to say we are never going back.

“My Kids Loved It!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2013

My 1 and 4 year old had a blast! It is safe, well staffed, and has free wifi for parents. We stayed for about two hours and the kids would have stayed longer, but it was time for lunch. Get there early so your kids can explore for a bit before others arrive. There were only about 2 other kids there for the first half hour and we arrived around 9ish in the morning.
