I prepaid 4 nights and got a great rate and was pleasantly surprised the breakfast buffet daily was included. All staff members were friendly and helpful and it was nice to use the shuttle service to local areas and not have to deal with parking. A definite plus was dual sinks in the bathroom and the refrigerator, microwave, and utensils were a great addition.

I wanted to take my wife somewhere special for our anniversary, so when I found a groupon for Chateaux Deer Valley and saw the great reviews, I decided to book it. We were NOT disappointed! We had a couple of special requests that the staff kindly took care of for us. In fact, after we mentioned it was our anniversary at the desk when checking in, we got a phone call at the room asking if it was OK to come up and give us a gift. A few moments later we received a bag of fine chocolates and a card containing a nice hand-written message with the signatures of several staff members as well. The hotel itself had a bit of a modern-rustic feel. Our room had exposed beams, dark wood doors, and sort-of faux travertine tile work in the bathroom. The Jacuzzi tub was long and deep with room for two. The kitchenette occupies a small space in the hallway, but has the necessaries - fridge, sink, microwave, a couple of small cupboards, drinking glasses, wine glasses, utensils, etc. Our room itself was fairly small, with just enough room for the big soft down-comforter-covered king bed, a pretty tiled fireplace, one medium dresser, and a writing desk. It was cozy and we liked it. My wife especially liked the bed, although it was a little soft for my taste. We decided to have dinner in Park City, took the hotel's shuttle (it leaves every half hour and will take you wherever you want to go), and wandered main street until our reservation time. We called the hotel when we were done and the shuttle was there in just a few minutes to pick us up. The kitchenette proved quite useful, as we brought some of our Italian back with us and were able to toss it in the fridge and heat it up the next day for lunch. Breakfast, my wife and I agreed was pretty good. Pancakes, potatoes, sausage, bacon, eggs, oatmeal, fruit nuts, yogurt, cereal, juice, etc. We ate well and headed out for a hike. The trails/lifts are just behind the lodge across the street. Very convenient. The weekend was absolutely wonderful and we hope to visit again soon!

Summer in Park City is beautiful, but include a wonderful hotel with it and you have a great vacation. First of all service is top notch, from the front desk to the shuttle folks, everyone made our family feel right at home. The room itself (we stayed in a standard room) is a bit tight, but has big bathroom, combined with a mini fridge and microwave. The beds, linens, towels and robes provided are so comfortable and everything is spotless. We also had breakfast included which is delicious. The restaurant was closed for dinner (seasonal), but there are so many choices you didn't mind. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again!!!!!

My husband and I found a deal online for this hotel that also included 3 course meal at their onsite restaurant. We stayed for our anniversary and had a wonderful time!!! The room was very nice with a beautiful fireplace, jetted tub, mini fridge with some basic kitchen supplies, and a very comfortable king bed! The restaurant was so delicious! I had order the ravioli and my husband a beef roulade. My only complaint is the cocktails were not very good or strong and they could upgrade to at least soft two-ply toilet paper for such a nice hotel. We will be back again sometime! Beautiful place!

My husband and I took our two kids (2 years and 6 months) to stay here over the 4th of July. The staff was all very friendly in welcoming us, and the property and area are all gorgeous. As soon as we got to our room, however, our two-year-old promptly proved that this was not the hotel for us. The door did not have a chain or latch at the top, just the deadbolt, but that was unlocked as soon as he pulled on the doorknob. We called the front desk, asking if another room had a chain that we could be moved to, and they said no, suggesting that we use a chair to block the door. I've never been to a hotel that didn't have these locks, and it was a very unusual solution.

The next thing we found was that the windows are low, about waist-high on our son at the bottom, and he easily figured out the locks and the cranks to open them. Couple that with the fact that the screen popped out with only a little pressure, and there was a 20-foot drop.

The room itself was beautiful, and the bathtub was sublime. Unfortunately, we won't be returning unless it's without kids, which will be quite some time.

We came to Park City to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We chose to stay at the Chateaux Deer Valley based on the reviews. We even found a groupon to use as well! The staff was wonderful, very accommodating and friendly. They were always saying hello and asking how our stay was going. Our room was very cozy and comfortable, exactly what we were looking for. And the breakfast, oh man, the breakfast was delicious! Maybe I just love food too much, but it was yummy. Access to the pool and hot tub were a definite plus as well. Having a chauffeur readily available was a really nice perk as well. Overall we had a wonderful stay there and loved everything about it. We will definitely be back to stay again!

We visited The Chateaux as a sort of staycation from our norther Utah home. It was great to spend time at the resorts during the day and stay up at Deer Valley for the evening. Very nice architectecture and the beds were very comfortable. Wish the pool had been warmer, but it was Park City in June. Great family trip.
