“Very special place”

What a great stay in Park City! From the glorious vistas available from my balcony, from the warm and coxy fireplace to the comfy bed with luxurious sheets (and I am a real sheet snob), the Sochi suite was easily the best accomodation I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying on a vacation. Chris and Russ were unbelievably accomodating and having my breakfast prepared by an experienced chef was really a treat. I loved being just steps away from downtown Park City with all it's great shopping and attractions. I travel for a living and the Torchlight was easily the most comfortable and coziest place I've stayed. Looking forward to ski season! Many thanks Chris, Russ, Max and Lola.

Room Tip: Not a bad room in the place but I'll try to get a top floor room in the future to have handiest...

There are lots of options in Park City, which at times can be a bit overwhelming. Before visiting I search through vacation homes, resorts, hotels, time shares, lodges, condos, and even a dorm. With three different resorts available in the immediate area, the amount of decisions necessary for an ideal vacation are incredible. To help organize all the options I make a list of priorities:

1. Location - I want to be close enough to Main Street so I could enjoy all the restaurants, art galleries and nightlife. I also want to be near convenient transportation.

2. Amenities - I want a comfortable room with a great area to relax after a long day in ski boots.

3. Fun - Vacations are meant to be exciting, and I'm never willing to skimp on fun.

The Torchlight delivers.

Across the street from the main transit center - check.
An easy walk (stumble) home from main street - check.
New rooms, furniture, and a laid back lounge area - check.
Rooftop hot tub overlooking Treasure Mountain - check.
Big flat screen TV to watch the game - check.
Breakfast that would make those waiting in line at Eating Establishment jealous - check.

There a choices galore in Park City, but in this case the decision is easy. I haven't tried every place in town, however given everything on offer I can't imagine a more fun experience. The owner, Chris, is a hoot to boot.

Two thumbs up. Recommended. Stamp of approval.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front of the building see the sunrise, rooms towards the back watch the sunset.

I met the owner of the Inn, although I've never stayed there, the place looks amazing with a genuine Park City feel. And who can pass up the hot tub on the roof with a stellar view of Old Town Park City at one of Park City's most famous historical buildings! The Innkeeper is very nice, and helpful, responsible member of the community and you can't go wrong doing business with her. Its a beautiful structure, walking distance to historical Main Street and the free transit system. The location of this transit stop is the Park City hub, so you can get anywhere you need to go in Park City after a short walk.

I was visiting Park City for business this week and stopped by to see Torchlight Inn, as I will be staying there this winter. They are just about finished with construction, but Chris, the Innkeeper, have me a tour and after seeing how beautiful everything will be and how nice everyone is, I am overwhelmed with excitement!!! Keep up the good work!!
