We loved this small gem in Park City. The duck breast with green chili mac and cheese was outstanding. Our server, Will, did a superb job!

The Purple Sage is a decent restaurant on Main Street in Downtown Park City and conveniently located. The food was very good, but our waiter was a little spacey/clueless. Drinks were a little pricey, as was the meal for what you received, but I imagine that the rent is pretty high so that makes sense. The decor is Ok but the restaurant is long and narrow and the seats in the middle near the bar and kitchen are not very cozy. Overall, it was a good meal but there are so many other choices, it will be ahile before I return.

Went here for dinner based on Tripadvisor reviews.
I had the Caprese Salad and squash ravioli, hubby had wedge salad and elk.
My salad had 6 thin slices of good heirloom tomatoes which were destroyed by a chili flavored sauce. ($12.00!) Who would do that to a good tomato? The local cheese was so-so. My husband's salad was also overpowered with a chili spice. Evidently the "Western American Bistro" theme means that you should throw spices over random foods... Main dishes were fine.
Service was below par, waiter never checked in with us and was not readily available.
The worst part was that we were overcharged for our wines. This must be a common occurrence, since he just put in a different kind of wine that cost the proper amount. We felt the service staff was just there collecting a paycheck. Too bad, since everyone in town was surely hurting for business.

Good food, good service, not great. I had squash ravioli (delicious), husband had chicken (said it was very good), son and DIL had fish (both said it was good not great). Service was fine, restaurant is a bit crowded. Would certainly go back.

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner here and plan to come back to try everyhting on their menu. We started out across the street at another very FANCY restaurant but couldn't seem to warm up to anything they had to offer on the menu. We left after one drink and went to Purple Sage. Everything on the menu is fantastic but you MUST have the veal meatloaf and pork tenderloin medallions. Both dishes made our eyes roll back in our heads, they were that great!
