I stayed in this hotel just a couple days ago for a business conference and I was very impressed. The conference facilities are top notch and so are the rooms and amenities. I got a Deluxe room complete with king sized bed, fully equipped kitchen, and jacuzzi tub on the deck. The room was spotless, spacious, and well appointed. The bathroom was immaculate, every surface and faucet was polished. When they said the kitchen was fully stocked, they meant it. Bowls, plates, cups, mugs, appliances, you name it, they had it. Usually hotels say "full kitchen" but then they don't have a pot or pan. Not here. We bought some groceries and were more than able to cook dinner. The deck was beautiful and the jacuzzi was a great reprieve.

The hotel is equipped with a gym and an indoor/outdoor pool and a sauna. I didn't get to use any of these, but they looked amazing. The hotel itself is very pleasant to be in with couches, fireplaces, and water fountains at every turn.

The only complaint I would have is that the front desk staff was less than stellar at their job. One guy was so lethargic and unwilling to help, you could feel how much he hated his job. Luckily I didn't need any assistance from them, but still, he could have made a bit of an effort.

Overall, a great experience.

The resort was different...which was nice. The hotel room was also different.....which isn't bad. We visit Park City about half a dozen times a year and normally stay with Marriot, but decided to try something different. We will be going back to Marriot as we know what we can expect from the resorts and the rooms. There were a few items at the hotel that made us not want to return. When entering the room the alarm detectors were hanging from the ceiling by their wires. The resort advertised 'private' hot tubs that are cleaned after each stay. Well, they are not private. If you are standing up you can see your neighbors. That's not very private. The hot tub also had a gritty white material that floated in the water and then rested on your swimwear. Not fun. We also had difficulty with the room keys. Upon our 2nd visit to the front desk about the key not working we were told we didn't know how to use them properly. ???? Really? You push it in the slot and pull it out. How much skill does one need to do that? Finally when we reported the mystery material in the hot tub we got a blank stare. They did not offer assistance nor did they offer a discount. It's worth trying once, but if you expect a nice relaxing stay...you won't get it here.

Most people travel to Park City during the winter or summer months. I visited in a pretty slow time of year the mid-end of September. It was great and there were not very many people in the hotel at the time. The hotel is in a great place if you dont have a car. Within minutes you can walk to a bowling alley (Jupiter Bowl), Whole foods, Starbucks, a few restaurants, shops, coldstone, Mcdonalds, and about a 20 minute walk to Tanger Outlets (great place to shop with tons of stores). The area around Newpark resort is very clean and safe.
The hotel is only a couple years old so its very clean and seems to be very well kept. The rooms are very clean too. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it had a small living room with a fireplace, tv, couch, dining table and small fully equiped kitchen. The bathroom was pretty big with a nice bathtub and shower with heated floors. The actual bedroom is a little small but the bed is pretty comfortable and has a tv. There is an extra closet for clothes and a washer and dryer. The best thing about the room is theres a nice deck with a hot tub. You can even sit in the hot tub while watching tv.
The only downsides for us were that they advertised in the elevators and said online that the restaurants provideroom service for hotel guests but when we tried to order the ytold us they didnt deliver. Maybe they only do that durring their busier seasons. Also all the restaurants close based on how busy they are so you never really know what time they will be open till. Also, a few of the front desk agents were pretty rude but overall it was a great price, great hotel in a great area. If you visit durring times that are not busy I recomend this hotel because there are things to do so close by. If your staying during the ski season you might want to stay somewhere closer as they are not in quick walking distance to the lifts.

Thank you for your thorough review of our property and services. I always appreciate feedback from our guests, especially your overwhelmingly positive response. However, I would like to apologize for your less than satisfactory experience with location, room service and Front Desk associates.
• Newpark is located in a vibrant Town Center, with walk to/from convenience for shopping, dinning, recreation and nightlife – plus, Park City’s free, year-round transit system transports guests to the three area ski resorts and activities of historic Main Street making the proximity to the ski resort more of a preference than a necessity.
• The hotel has five independent food establishments located in the hotel (significantly more within walking distance), but not every establishment will provide room service/delivery. Although we try to communicate to our guests through advertisements and check-in materials which restaurants provide this service and contact details, including their hours, we acknowledge that confusion can occur.
• “Rude” associates is certainly an experience that we truly hope our guests never experience. We understand the necessity of delivering a traveling experience to our clients with a foundation and unwavering commitment to superior customer service – I am sorry we did not deliver.

Thank you again for your thoughtful review.

In these guestrooms I woke up to a view from the floor-to-ceiling window of beautiful blue skies, scenic mountains, and hot air balloons.

I've stayed in several hotels in Park City and the Newpark Resort is now my favorite. The rooms are quite spacious and the beds are very soft and comfortable. The location is great for all Park City activities.

The Newpark Resort has been in existence for 2-3 years, but we had never stayed there until this latest golfing trip. We were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent accommodations and the fantastic location. This area of Park City has grown tremendously and has everything you could possibly want-restaurants, movies, shopping, Whole Foods Market, etc. The resort was located right next to I-80 which made access to all of the area golf courses very convenient. We played the Homestead Resort and Soldier Hollow which were both located in Midway, UT, about a 25 minute drive.
If you don't mind the extra $40 we would recommend the 1 BR Luxury Suite with a view of the mountains. They also have a Deluxe Guestroom for $109 and a Deluxe Luxury Suite as well as a Townhouse option for $175. All of these are bargains considering the many amenities. Will stay here for all my future visits to Park City.

I stayed at the Newpark with my boyfriend for three nights over New Years Eve. Our room was wonderful - clean and spacious. We made use of the little kitchen, the fireplace, and the hot tub after long days of skiing. We also made use of our proximity to a grocery store, liquor store, movie theater, Starbucks, pastry shop for breakfast, and restaurants. The view wasn't great (I think we looked out over a parking lot toward a shopping center), but that wasn't a big deal since we were being overloaded with amazing views everywhere else in Park City.

My only complaint about the trip was that I wish we would have a rented a car. We used a bus or taxi to get to the resorts or into town. The bus wasn't all that convenient (long wait times and very crowded), and with the money we ended up spending on taxis to and from SLC airport and into Park City on NYE, it would have made more sense to rent a car.

What a pleasant surprise it was to arrive at Newpark and find out it was so much more than I expected. The hotel and rooms are first class and it can't be more convenient. The FREE public bus will take you to any of the ski areas in Park City (Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City) and in to town. It runs every half hour right from the hotel. Shopping and restaurants are all walking distance (and you can't beat Kneaders Bakery for their treats and awesome French Toast). The bus will also take you across the street to Tanger Outlets. The Olympic Park is visible from the rooms and quite a fun place to spend a day. We rented a couple bikes and enjoyed the paved path that takes you around the Nature Preserve. You can follow bike paths all the way to Park City and beyond and it's fairly flat. Overall, an enjoyable time and I didn't want to go home.
