This is a scenic drive with wonderful things to see along the way. The mountains are beautiful and lakes and the river along the way are nice places to stop and take a long look. Go rafting, tubing, if you want to get wet!

This is a great canyon and there is plenty to see. I have rafted and fished down the river. It is a great drive as well.

We headed down through Heber City and then onto the Provo Canyon. We exited at Alpine Loop which had beautiful scenery and views. There are several great hikes. We chose the Stewart Falls Trail and were not disappointed. You can also access Cystal Springs from this road and then head back out to Midland and Heber City. The recreation pass is good for this and Mirror Lake!

It is always fun to go to Scott's cabin in Provo Canyon. It always means other family is there. It is so relaxing.

We drove the Alpine Loop and were stunned by the beautiful views. Be warned, though, the road is narrow (about 1 3/4 cars wide, at least it seemed that way). We were in a big pickup truck and probably wouldn't have attempted it if we had known how narrow the road was. Luckily, there wasn't much traffic that day because we really had to squeeze over to make room for other cars coming toward us. Blind curves add to the "thrill"....
