Bugs!! Afraid to go to sleep. I turned the lights on upon entering the room and bugs moved in and out from where base boards should be. Caught the 1st one in a cup and put it outside my door. Then, turned the light on in the bathroom and another one. Two cups down. I have no idea what is going to come outta these walls! ( I took pictures) Also, the sitting chairs look like they came from the dumpster. Sheets appear to be crisp and clean. I'll be brave.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge for one night and its was great value for money. The room was clean and quite a good size. It had a balcony which was a nice addition. The air con was a bit noisy but worked well.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in St. George riding dirt bikes. We booked two rooms at $70 each a night. Was not too impressed. Rooms are ok, but the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. Showers are dirty and grungy, paint is kinda molding on the ceiling and the toilets need help. Location is kinda nice, near places to eat. Breakfast was very simple and staff was nice. Most likely won't stay here again unless they remodel or drop prices to $50ish a night.

So this visit was during Spring Break the first week of April, 2013. The location was central and the place was fully booked with students and families visiting Zion National Park so it was pretty noisy up until the outdoor pool area closed for the night. I stayed in a King Suite which was large and pretty isolated although parking was tough and the smell of the garbage bin was pretty ramped out by parking. Not terrible but I paid $115 for one night due to availability being low. I would not recommend this motel overall. Dated. Smelly outside. But get the Suite if you must stay here. It's decent compared to the rest of the facility.

Room Tip: Get the suite as it is worth the extra few bucks !!

First of all, the rate was $75 plus tax (rate was only $45 when we were forced to stay there) for a room w/ a barely acceptable bathroom (far from my sense of cleanliness). TV had no remote so they moved us to another room.

The lady at the desk was friendly, but an earlier call when it appeared it would be better to stop driving earlier and cancel the reservation resulted in harsh words. They did not advise when the reservation was made and credit card given to hold the room that they had a "no cancellation policy", when we called less than 2 hours later to cancel they refused to cancel and refund BEWARE --- do not make a reservation and ask to hold w/ a card, unless you are positive you can be there.

Unfortunately, the two times we visited St Geo, there has been a lot of activities going on there and it was the only room open under $150/nite so felt had not choice...this time although too tired to safely drive on, we did, because they would not cancel/refund. Hopefully we are never left with this facility as the only option.

We must say also that we often choose ChoiceHotels because of their consistent high quality and good service.......we have contacted that them to advise of this substandard unit.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived very late and there was still rooms available. Room was clean. No blind on the bathroom window. The place could use some renovations, but overall not a bad place to spend 1 night!

The only reason I stay there is they are pet friendly with a $10.00 fee. The rooms are not as clean as I like and the last time we stayed there we found a dead bug in the bathroom. Clearly had been squashed and not cleaned up. The rooms they use for pets are outdated and the AC is inadequate when the outside temp is 100 or better (which is most days in the summer). The breakfast is marginal and there is only powdered creamer for the coffee. Staff is not very friendly or helpful.
