very outdated but cheap and good location. room was not very clean. spend a bit more and upgrade to a better hotel. have stayed in other econo lodges and found the same. 200 required characters is too much to ask when review can be done with 50.

My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend for the St. George marathon and had a good experience. We had originally booked the king suite via the advanced stay rate (not modifiable), then realized we needed an extra night and had to make a separate reservation for a different room type. They were extremely flexible with us at check-in and allowed us to blend the reservations and keep the suite for a small upgrade fee for the last day.

We're pretty low maintenance and found the room to be adequate for our needs. There was a refrigerator and microwave, along with a kitchen space and small living area. As I was participating in the marathon, this was beneficial to have a place to store cold drinks and room to spread my stuff out. The hot tub & pool also gave me a nice place to pass out for 4 hours after the race was over!

Very convenient location as well. It's located right on the main drag, with some restaurant options in walking distance - not to mention walking distance to the bus loading area for the marathon. Sometimes this can mean traffic noise at night, but I never found this to be an issue.

Would definitely recommend this place, particularly for future St. George marathoners.

I didn't expect much by the price I paid for the room, it had a tv, fridge, microwave, etc. But the room was very old and dirty. The walls and carpets had gaps and there were bugs on floor and in bathroom (woke up to a VERY large nasty cricket in our tub. The sheets gave my DD a rash on her face. It was ok for what we needed, but it was nasty and I don't think I'll be back. Also wish I would have known that an entire wall of all rooms was a sliding glass door, didn't care for that.

We got a room on the back and had a real struggle getting up the high step to get into the room. All in all the room was nice but we are two old women and felt rather isolated. We didn't go swimming as intended but noticed on our way out the next day we noticed there appeared to be a seat for lowering or raising the older or handicapped people into the pool. This is a good thing. Had we noticed before we would have gone swimming.

I always stay at this nice inexpensive hotel in St. George because it is clean, well-maintained, inexpensive, and the front desk people are very friendly. Plus, it is across the street from Neilsen's Frozen Custard.

No problem to find the motel. We arrived there in the late afternoon. The lady at the counter received us with all honors. Immediately I revived from the dullness of the trip. We had to do some shopping, she was happy to help us. The motel itself is surrounded by restaurants so no problem to find a good one for having dinner.

Where to start. Rude front desk service overcharged us for our dog. Shower was tepid at best. Sink leaked foul smelling drain water. Electrical connection for hair dryer was definitely not up to code. Basically it was a pretty bad experience. My wife barely slept because she didn't feel comfortable. We had to stay in St. George because a friend was in the hospital. Definitely moving somewhere else tonight.
