We had a very informative guided tour by an Elder from Canada. He answered all our questions fully and openly. The building itself is worth the visit (including the staircase built by Mitt Romney's great (great?) grandfather) but it was the welcome from the Elder that really made it worthwhile.

Love the stories the guides can tell about this beautiful old building. On an hot day, it's an oasis of cool, plus the peace and serenity are a balm to a tired traveler's soul.

We came here because we wanted to learn more about the Mormon's history. The lady guide greeted us and made us felt very welcomed and asked us to join the tour right away. Then she went on tell us the history about the religion and about the building. The building was an amazing craftsmanship. There were twin spiral staircases that were built without center support. They were still in very good condition and still in use. The patterns on the wood panels were painted on and it showed how meticulous the work was. It was a great experience here.

So popular that we have been turned away for several community programs because they were full. When we do get in they are really great

I didn't take the tour but went to a Choir performance for Mother's day there and the sound was amazing and the whole building is just great to walk through and take a look at. The stairs to get to the second floor are a trip how steep they are and you better hold on to the rail as you go down. Someday I might take the tour but the free concert was enough for me right now.
