“Lovely place to stay!”
Reviewed 9 October 2012

Just spent two nights at this Best Western. It looks old from the outside, but the renovated rooms are lovely and clean. Great breakfast in the morning and not one, but two pools, one outside and one indoors. The staff are very helpful and professional. Great price too! It's all good and we are pretty picky about where we stay!! They even have the "clean remote" for your TV which can be wiped off completely. We only have good things to say about this one!

Thank you for the great comments. We are trying our best. The clean remotes are pretty nice aren’t they? It’s one of the most often touched items in a room that can transmit germs etc. These remotes allow us to wipe the entire surface and know that it has been sterilized. Our housekeeping department also uses black lights and a UV wand to catch things not seen by the naked eye. Thank you again for your hearty endorsement of our property. Come again soon!

Just got back from three nights at the Coral Hills Best Western for the St. George Marathon. This hotel is in a perfect location; four long blocks from the finish (and where the buses leave toward the start); certainly walkable to and from the race. They did have a shuttle to the buses if one desired. Pretty much everything about the hotel was nice. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. They did a really good job of keeping the breakfast area clean and the food stocked despite the crowd of people there for the marathon. Also, there are plenty of nice restaurants (including pasta places) easily within walking distance. The only negative I had was they forgot to give me my wake-up call on marathon morning (but, of course I had three alarms set as back-up). I certainly will try to stay here at the Best Western Coral HIlls if I'm lucky enough to run this marathon again.

Thank you for the great review and for the many details you included in your comments. I am VERY sorry to hear about the missed wake up call. Just this morning I had our computer support address an internal issue (non-guest related) on a whim I also had them re-sync our telephone system with our computer system for good measure. Unfortunately this prohibits me from checking any missed calls in the system. I am relieved to hear you had backups in place. I do want you to know yours was the only missed call that I have been aware of so it may be specific to the phone line. If you could e-mail me your room number I might find out what took place. Thanks for letting me know about this so I can attempt to have it addressed. We will open up for next year’s reservations after the lottery is held; we hope to see you then!

We are always a bit wary of Best Westerns as their quality varies a lot. However, based on Trip Advisor recommendations and a great price, we decided to give it a try. Good choice. Don't be turned off by the outside appearance. It looks like an older style motor inn. However, the rooms have been recently remodeled and updated. Our room was large and clean. We had a refrigerator as well as a microwave. The bed was comfortable. They offer a wonderful hot breakfast buffet. They also offer wireless internet and have a guest laundry service.

There is a outdoor pool near the main entrance. This pool closes at 10:30 p.m. so noise could be an issue. There is also an indoor pool in the east wing building. The indoor pool needed cleaning and expect it will be taken care of as the weather cools and more people are interested in using an indoor pool. We stayed in the north wing located behind the main building. Lots of parking.

The hotel is just a short walk to some of the historic buildings downtown St. George and a variety of restaurants. There are a lot of places to stay in St. George; but for the price, this one is hard to beat.

Room Tip: 2nd floor (no elevator) in north wing away from outdoor pool.

WOW! Awesome review! Thank you for each compliment; it all is a direct reflection on the staff and involved owners. I am really grateful to be working with such a terrific staff. We really do try to be the best overall option. If you ever think of anything we can do to improve please let us know. The greatest compliment is your continued business and your word-of-mouth referrals to others. Thank you!!!!

My husband and I don't bother staying anywhere else when we go to St George. The prices are the best we've found in the area and the rooms are beautiful. We are awed by the service every time we stay. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. These guys are doing it right!!!

Room Tip: We prefer rooms close to the indoor pool and hot tub. There are three separate buildings and we don...

This was one of the best Best Westerns I've stayed at. Our room was contemporary, large and clean. Nice selection for breakfast. I'm just sorry it was only one night of our two-day road trip. Perhaps during ski season, we'll return.

We will look forward to the ski season and your return and thanks for spending half of your trip with us! It is really a great area to be able to golf in St. George and then snow ski at Brian Head all in the same day. Not to mention all the area national parks. Come again!

We spent one night here on the way to Zion National Park. Nice room, plenty of space, fridge etc in room. Great value. Nice staff. Typical Breakfast. Would definitely stay here again, Beware of St. George on a Sunday night though. After several attempts to find a restaurant that would deliver food to the room we called the desk and found out Pizza Hut or Pappa John's Pizza were it. Certainly NO fault of the hotel.

Thanks for your review! We do have a restaurant guide available at the front desk. It lists the most popular restaurants and includes the hours and the type of food. And yes, it is typically the pizza places that are open the latest. If in your travels you experience something you really enjoy and think we should try it here- please, just give us a call.

Not knowing the area or a place to stay, we were very impressed with the looks of the room and the size. Everyone was very friendly and so helpful with directions. The breakfast was well made and lots of choices and served hot. A definite keeper!! Everything was very clean .
