“Accomodating Staff”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

We stayed 3 days for my nephews wedding. Our coffeemaker failed the first morning and the shower head dribbled instead of spraying. The staff had both corrected by noon that day. the rooms were comfortable. the bathrooms a good size. The pool area was a gathering point for the extended family (about 25 people) with comfortabe outdoor furniture. Our only complaint was very dirty carpets in the rooms. Managment said they would get them cleaned asap.

Room Tip: 107 degree afternoon temps made a west facing room difficult to cool to a comfortable level for midw...

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice and comfortable, the breakfast is very good and the price was right. It had a nice indoor/outdoor pool with a ping pong table and a pool table to keep you busy. It wasn't Caesars Palace, but I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for the Jacuzzi tub.

We went to St. George to the Tuacahn theater to watch a play. We needed a nice place to stay because we were tired of staying in some of the dumps around. The rooms were a little small and the bathroom a little small but everything was very clean, very comfortable, and very nice.

We went to the end of the building to get some ice from the machine, but it was empty. Not a big deal but it wasn't inconvenient. In the morning we went to the buffet breakfast and it was great. They had biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, peaches, bagels, waffles you cook, and a bunch of other things that we didn't get. They also had several kinds of juice as well as milk to drink. The food was tasty and there's plenty of it and very convenient for a quick breakfast on the go. They serve breakfast from 8 AM to 10 AM. Many breakfast buffets start earlier than that, so if you need to get going early in the morning you may have to skip the breakfast buffet.

They have three buildings. The first one is part of the main building and they had some convention rooms there. The other two buildings were only rooms to stay in without any convention meeting rooms. If you want to stay a long way away from the road you can go to the farthest building back and it's very quiet. There are parking places right next to the rooms so it's very convenient. Just a warning though there are no elevators, so if you require an elevator you want to stay on the main floor.

I only had two complaints with the room. The drains were very slow to drain and the showerhead is convenient for people who are 5 feet five tall or less, but I am 6'4" tall and I had to duck down quite a ways to get under the head. Oh, the handle to turn on the water in the shower was a little wonky. You have to pull it straight out and then turn it the direction you want to go. It was also a little hard to pull out. So I guess I had three complaints with the room, but I would still enjoy going there.

This is definitely a very nice place to stay and you can get some really nice deals by going to an online travel sites to schedule a room before you go. We will definitely go back to the Lexington when when St. George next time.

Room Tip: Because it gets so hot in the summer months, you may want a room on the east side of one of the two...

Just needed somewhere to stay on a road trip to Colorado. The Lexington in St. George proved a good choice and the ideal place to spend the night. Bed was very comfortable, room impeccably clean, parking spot right in front of the room and the price included a large buffet breakfast. Will definitely be staying there again on the return end of the trip.

Room Tip: For maximum quiet ask for a room away from the pool.

we had been traveling for days and the pool was delightful and the breakfast was so so good

We found the staff to be very helpful and kind. The facility was so much fun and very close to everything. We were going to stay one night and continue our trip and we ended up staying 3 nights and will stop on our way back.
Thank you

Room Tip: choose the inside rooms.

We booked this because our hiking group was meeting here to start our trip. It was a good meeting place before heading to Zion but there are so many better options in the area. It was old and needing an update. Rooms and lobby dark and dingy. Choose a room in 2nd building if possible. In main building rooms face lobby or parking lot. The best I can say is that the breakfast was great! Hot multiple options. Oatmeal, eggs, French toast etc. Full of hikers and bikers which was a plus too, to share trekking advice.

This hotel seems much newer than it is. Our room was extremely clean, modern, and very quiet. This was the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at. It is a little out of the way though. If you don't mind driving a few miles to St. George then it's a nice option.

Room Tip: Might want to request a room further from the freeway.
