“Another Great Meal”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Tin Roof was our favorite Sandy restaurant when we lived in the area. Now we make it a point to go there when we visit. We went to dinner twice when were there. Our first visit was on a Friday night and it was packed--a week after the airing of "DDD" on Food Network. I opted for the special which was blackened salmon. It was yummy as usual. My husband had the smoked sirloin sandwich, which was also excellent. Of course, we had to have the raspberry charlotte cheesecake, which was go die for!! On our second visit we had the early bird special--spaghetti. Had cream of asparagus soup and it was very good. We ended up taking our chocolate cake home because we were stuffed. If you opt to bring your own bottle of wine, they charge a very reasonable corkage fee of $4.99. Looking forward to our next SLC visit, so we can return for another great meal.

“Simple & Excellent”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

I saw a featured story about this place on Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives. Looked good on TV so we tried it. Glad we did! Very nice. Simple preparations. Not a lot of heavy sauces or over seasoning. My wife had the pasta of the day and I tried one of their signature pizzas—The White Bean & Steak, white bean puree with pesto, grilled steak, fresh basil, red onions and tomatoes. Both entrees were really good. We also had the soup of the day. I hadn’t had Mulligatawny Soup for years. Used to prepare it once in a while at my own restaurant.
