Mr.Triple D had stopped here and so we thought we would too.
The White Bean and Steak pizza was excellent. We are told that either diners either like it or not. There is no middle ground. We found it tasty. The smoked sirloin was good, but you do not want to get there too late or all they have is medium cooked sirloin. We loved the croquettes. They were a big hit. They come 5 to a portion and we had to draw lots on who would get the leftover from our party of 4. The pizza crust is made in house. It was a little doughy for my taste but the house cheese and plenty of it made up for the doughy base. The service was attentive.

Tin Roof was our favorite Sandy restaurant when we lived in the area. Now we make it a point to go there when we visit. We went to dinner twice when were there. Our first visit was on a Friday night and it was packed--a week after the airing of "DDD" on Food Network. I opted for the special which was blackened salmon. It was yummy as usual. My husband had the smoked sirloin sandwich, which was also excellent. Of course, we had to have the raspberry charlotte cheesecake, which was go die for!! On our second visit we had the early bird special--spaghetti. Had cream of asparagus soup and it was very good. We ended up taking our chocolate cake home because we were stuffed. If you opt to bring your own bottle of wine, they charge a very reasonable corkage fee of $4.99. Looking forward to our next SLC visit, so we can return for another great meal.
