If you're looking for good home-style food, this is your place. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but if you happen to be passing this way it's worth a stop.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I had a really great hot pork sandwich here. It was tasty beyond description.
It is a family run establishment. The people there are very nice and the service is good.
I love the decor. There is nothing beats looking at mounted elk and deer heads while you're enjoying a good meal. At the tables they have fun books of backwoods style wit and wisdom for you to read while you're waiting for your food. Oh, and don't forget to tug open the door to the little wooden outhouses. There's one on each table. It's pretty clever, but I'm not about to spoil the surprise. You just have to try it.
Last but not least, you have to save some room for their peach cobbler. It's really, really good..
