“Great Place to Stay”
Reviewed 9 April 2011

We rented both sides of a duplex--we had 7 family members, including 3 small children. The cabin was ideal. We were able to fix meals and snacks. Nice playfround for kids. Beautiful view and close to Bryce and Kodachrome and other hiking and exploring parks. Everything was well taken care of and we would go back there again.

We have had the opportunity to stay here several times in the past several years and look forward to each new trip! Wendy and her husband are fine innkeepers and the cabins are all first rate. We stay in the kitchenettes and everything is included such as microwave, small fridge, stove top as well as all dishes, pots and pans and all utensils! Morning coffee comes with a view of the vermillion cliffs as they are lit up by the sunrise. Beautiful view. Bryce Canyon National Park is fifteen minutes away. Many more national as well as state parks are all within a few hours drive. This is a great place to make your base camp and visit all you can while here!! Splendid property.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at Bryce Country Cabins and I have to say that I have never been in such a delightful place. First off, the decor is so charming, from the furniture to all the little items that decorate the room and bath. We had our own cabin which was very clean and oh sooo quiet. From the moment we arrived I got a view of all the horses, sheep and donkeys right in the backyard that came right over to greet us. Then I looked up and saw the view of the mountains in the background--wow!!

I normally never write a thank you to a place we stay but this was an exception---everything was just perfect. And the icing on the cake is the pizza place owned by the son of the folks who own the cabins---never have I tasted such great pizza--for a very minimal price, the pizza had about 10 different items.

Yes I highly recommend these cabins, you are close to Bryce National Park, the town of Tropic is just lovely, you will enjoy a restful night of sleep and you can expect a very clean , quaint room. We definately hope to go back again.

My room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I loved the porch with the rocking chairs and the atmosphere of the small town, complete with a rooster crowing in the morning. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. This is a very small town with only a couple of restaurants, but the food was very good. It is also a convenient location if you are visiting the park or just a nice place to spend the night when you're on your way to someplace else.

Cute cabins that were well maintained. Refrigerator/microwave in room. A nice little suite! Good view of the stars out back every evening! Local restaurant was excellent for dinner! I am sure kids would love it! About 10 miles from the park.

We came to the area to teach the children "how to stay safe" while camping, hiking, ect. As we are with American Search Dogs, our two dogs accompanied us. They are considered service dogs so we were allowed, actually invited to have them with us. Our rooms were cute, large, clean and comfortable. The surrounding area around the cabins was filled with llahmas, chickens, goats, wonderful fruit trees that were constantly calling us to enjoy. The owners and staff were happy to help us in anyway.

The dogs were treated like royalty and thank goodness they (the dogs) were on their best behaivor for the two days we stayed with the Brinkerhoff family.

Needless to say, this is where I will stay again, next time I am in the area.

We stayed in one of the cabins for 2 days early September. Cabins were clean and cozy. View from the back yard was wonderful and we loved hearing the rooster in the morning. The restaurants in Tropic were fine, especially the pizzeria. The location is a few miles and very scenic drive to Bryce National Park. Glad we stayed here instead of one of the chain motels that are closer to Bryce and loaded with tour buses.
