Played Coral Canyon on March 4th 2014. It is in HORRIBLE condition. THe Dixie Hills City Course was mile ahead of Coral. The tee boxes were a flat out joke. Greens were hairy and the slowest ot the 5 courses we played. Lots of bare and dead spots. We played lots of courses and it is the only one where we had to play "winter rules" in the fairway.Charged us 80 bucks cause we have the Dixie Direct card and still feel like we payed 3 times to much. No cart girl ever stopped by. Wont play there again. Sand Hollow, Green Springs, city Muni all are way better condition and are cheaper.

We played this beautiful course last year in February and were looking foreword to playing it again this year. But, yesterday, we found the overall course to be in very poor condition. The fairways were ragged with very thin lies and multiple bare spots. I'm embarrassed to say that ball movement was required just to get playable grass under the ball rather than hard soil between lumps of grass. Additionally, the greens were very bumpy and weren't rolling true. For a course that is 2-4 times as expensive as surrounding courses that are in much better shape, we would have expected much more from Coral Canyon. We won't be back until we the course conditions are returned to its former playability.

Played this course last week and found conditions to be quite disappointing. Greens were rough and very slow. Fairways were rough. A lot of damage, ie mud, washed out cart paths, debris, etc... that I was told occured during heavy rains back in November. I was charged full price ($107.00) and no mention was ever made of poor course conditions. Also played Sand Hollow and Sky Mountain and conditions at those courses were much better and the rates were lower. Coral Canyon has been a favorite for several years, but the course
needs immediate attention.

The course is always in very good condition (have played it the past eight years when visiting St. George). The holes are varied and you will use every club in tour bag. Several of the par 5's can be reached in two shots. The greens are undulated and tiered along with being very quick so bring your A-putting. Play the white tees unless you are a low single digit handicap. Great views and many elevation changes, best conditioned public course in the St. George/Washington area.

We have had thunderstorms within the last few days and the course had a few places that were muddy. The staff pointed these out to us and there was no problem. Due to the wetness mowing wasn't done. This was not a real problem and we found our balls that were in the rough.
I thought they had done a great job cleaning up and the course will be in great shape in a few days.
Play time was good, this has been a problem in the past.
