We were looking for accommodation in the Woodstock, Vermont area. After looking at many inns and bed and breakfasts, I came across the website for the Maple Leaf Inn. The photo looked as pretty as a postcard. We were delighted to learn that the photos and reviews were accurate. The Inn is clean and well appointed, the rooms are accurately described, and the Innkeepers have a keen eye toward detail and are warm personable hosts. The breakfast included warm blueberry scones, fruit and deliciously prepared eggs. If we return to the area, we will certainly return to the Maple Leaf Inn.

Nancy and Mike know how to run an inn. From the moment we arrived, everything was superb. Peaceful, comfortable, immaculate...there is nothing more we could have wished for. This was our second time staying at the Maple Leaf and nothing else compares to the level of service that you will find here. We hated to leave!

Room Tip: We looked at all the rooms and every one looked great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at The Maple Leaf Inn! The innkeepers, Nancy and Mike, are extremely attentive without being intrusive. They have thought of everything - from the complimentary glass of wine offered each afternoon to the homemade chocolate chip cookies to the gifts each night left on our pillows! All these touches add to the warmth we felt staying there. The Winterhaven room was lovely with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub and very comfortable king bed. We looked forward every morning to the delicious homemade breakfasts. Nancy really went out of her way to accommodate my many food intolerances (gluten, dairy, soy, eggs). She made it so easy for me to enjoy the breakfasts. She even game me homemade granola to take home! After 3 days of hiking in the White Mountains we were looking forward to relaxing in Vermont and we feel very lucky that we got that and more at the Maple Leaf Inn.

We loved the Maple Leaf Inn! Its location is absolutely perfect: back off the road and gorgeous land surrounding. The innkeepers are so wonderful at their jobs that anyone who is considering opening a B&B should be REQUIRED to take a course from Nancy and Mike. Everything at this Inn is absolutely perfect - we've been to many B&B's over the years and this is absolutely top notch. Inside, the Inn is perfectly laid out, with many areas for you to do whatever you wish: surf the net on the laptop provided, just sit quietly on the porch on a rocking chair, sit in the yard and watch the hummingbirds in comfortable composite Adirondack chairs, lounge in the Jacuzzi in your room, take a nap in your comfortable bed, make yourself a cup of coffee on the Keurig, munch on one of Nancy's scrumptious chocolate chip cookies, sip a complementary glass of wine in the Library, and much, much more! We will definitely be back - Room charge is reasonable for the luxury you get here!

The Maple Leaf Inn is the nicest B & B my husband and I have ever stayed at. The inn is quintessential Vermont: great food (breakfasts to die for!), sparkling clean and comfortable spacious rooms, friendly and warm hosts, and a lovely gracious home. Guests feel as pampered and cared for as if they had come home. The area is lovely and there are many things to do and see. Or just enjoy relaxing at the Inn. Nancy and Mike make guests feel like treasured friends. And by the time you leave, even if only staying for one night, you will be friends! The Maple Leaf is truly the gold standard in B & B's!
